Great for boosting spelling and vocabulary!
I really like this Daily Word Ladders book! It’s a fun way for kids to strengthen their spelling skills and boost vocabulary. Each clue builds upon the previous word, encouraging both critical thinking and word recognition. The grade level seems appropriate, and the format keeps learning fun and interactive.

Good word practice option for 4-5th grader
Bought it for my 4th grader. Although there are some challenges she found fun when she accomplished the worksheet and researched some questions by her way. It is a good word practice option for 4-5th grader.

Love this Book
My Granddaughter was struggling some in Reading and comprehension. This book has helped her tremendously. Fun to do teaches you how to make different words with same sounding words, helped my granddaughter to stride ahead in her understanding of words and reading. She loved it said it was fun to do.

Neat exercise and challenging
I got this for my 5th grader over the summer before 6th grade. I love the word ladders. They get kids thinking about spelling, but they're also like a logical puzzle. They teach vocabulary as well. My only complaint is that some of the words are old-fashioned, and there's little chance a kid would know them (e.g., aster, till). Because of those random difficult words, I do need to be close by to help. In theory, a child should be able to do them on their own, because they are self-correcting (you can't get the next word right if your current word is wrong). But overall, I'm thrilled with them and would probably do the ladders myself for fun if given the chance!

A gem
My 10 year old starts his homeschool morning with one of these puzzles every day. He’s been largely unschooled until this year and I felt he was missing some spelling and phonics skills. In this book, he is creatively thinking about words and word parts, spelling, phonics, even practicing a little handwriting. This in combination with some other materials are greatly increasing his confidence. It’s a lot of fun too. When he gets stumped on a word, his little brother tries to guess, while I give them clues. So happy we found this gem.

This is a good book that I am using at home with my 8 year old son. He is currently level 3c in English. In my opinion the book is leveled at year 4. The book is American and they use some American words such as nickel and dollar but otherwise it ready helps build up vocabulary. We try to do one or two a day but no more - to help the words sink in. My son enjoys these. I would recommend this book.

My son is 12 and is having huge problems writing. this little book helps him. It is fun and it doesn't feel like "homework" feels more like a game. Worth the money.
