Fits in my Samsung RF24R7201SR/AA, easy to install no leaking and works fine. Will be switching to this from the Samsung brand as it is much cheaper.

After installing new filter, running water to clear air from the water line to ice maker, I tried many times to reset the filter reset. The red flashing light still won't turn off. This light flashes to let you know it's time to change the filter. So a friend with the same Samsung refrigerator told me how to unlock the panel so I could reset the filter light. I did that and now everyhing is working fine. I hope to see good results from using this replacement filter instead of the Samsung filter I had been using. It's more affordable.

Easy to use water resistant

Took a chance purchasing this for my Samsung RF28R6241SR refrigerator since this specific model number is not mentioned in the description. Was identical to the original Samsung filter, inserted easily and works well without leaking. Very pleased since this is superior to the WaterDrop filter listed as fitting and is only a few dollars more. Water tastes great and got 3 filters for less than the price of 1 Samsung. I have used WaterDrop for a long time and found they work well as long as you get the EXACT filter for your fridge. I had an issue previously where a filter leaked. It looked correct, but later found out there was a different model number filter that worked without leaking. Be VERY careful about matching filters to correct refrigerator!

This filter housing and seal were exactly the same as the OEM filter. No drips or leaks. I replace this every 6 months.The particular specifications for this filter element that was a deal-maker for me to buy this filter were that it meets 3 NSF criteria for the removal of unhealthy chemicals that 99% of other filters fall short on.This filter has been certified by NSF 42 to reduce Chlorine, Taste, and Odor.But it is also certified to NSF 53 to reduce Cyst, Lead, Mercury, PFOA, and PFOS.PFOA and PFOS are what are known as "forever chemicals" that are showing up in water supplies. The EPA has been slow to enact regulations to enforce testing requirements and drinking water thresholds. This filter is proactive to ensure that the water I am drinking is being filtered to remove PFOA and PFOS forever chemicals.This filter also is certified NSF 372 which ensures that the materials that the filter element is made of are lead-free.Most filters are only certified to NSF 42. Only premium filters are certified for NSF 42, 53, and 372. This filter is a premium filter.Another standard that is important is NSF 401. The Samsung OEM filter element does have this rating, but this filter element made by Waterdrop does not.

To start, The filter fit perfect, with no Leaks. Water taste just as good as the Samsung filter water. The Samsung filter lasted roughly 7 months, that was the original filter that came with the new fridge. These filters, I bought the 3 pack. The 3 pack was cheaper than a single OEM filter from samsung. Which was great. Now for the problem. My first filter from this pack, lasted roughly 2 months, before water flow was seriously restricted. It would not even fill the pitcher in the beverage center of my refrigerator. After replacing with the 2nd filter in the pack, It is back to normal. Again water taste great, and flow is strong once again. IF this filter lasts longer than the last one, perhaps this is a great deal. But if all 3 filters only last 2 months, I question if this is a good deal, or if I should just purchase the samsung OEM filters from here on out. The first of these filters may have been faulty, but we shall see.Update: September 6th, Well, Just had to replace the 2nd filter. Seems that lasted just over a month, Really thinking Ill be buying the OEM filter in the future. Ill update one more time after the 3rd and final filter dies on me. And we shall see how long the 3 filters last compared to the OEM.

Works just like the Samsung OEM filter at a much cheaper price. No issues resetting the filter alarm. We will see if it lasts for the 6 months or 300 gallons.I will add a comment if it needs changing early.

This is the second time I have purchased these filters for our Dacor fridge & freezer. They install easily, are leak-free and the chilled water tastes just fine.Three is not a particularly convenient package size but we can store the surplus until the next change time.
