illy Coffee, iper Coffee Capsule, Dark Roast Drip Pods, illy iperEspresso Machines (18 ct)

The item is fine, but I bought the wrong thing! My fault, not the coffees. This coffee is really good!

Bought these as they were less than the version in the metal tin. But… the unit is not the same even though it is the Illy brand. I have the Illy Iperpresso and I love it. These pods splatter, coffee doesn’t come out with cream and the coffee is not hot. Meaning I had to microwave it. I notice the pressure drops on these pods but not the “same” pods that come in the tin container. Went back to the tins and works perfect. I included a photo of the “tin”. Use those in whatever flavor you want. No issues.

Please do not buy as this will disappoint you if you have tried the other illy pods that comes in a round container and comes in 21pcs. When I first bought my machine I purchase the round container and I was supper haply to have found such a great product. Coffee tasted great and an incredible amount of creamy froth. 😋 but this one is made different and taste stale, it cannot be returned and is a waste of money. These are made different as the first ones I had are semiclear plastic and this one is all dark I believe it all has to do with the filter they used inside of these. I will open one and compare to the ones I loved! I will drink these until I get the good ones. Trust me don't buy it spend a bit extra on other ones described to fully satisfy your coffee needs.

These coffee pods are so easy to use with my illy espresso maker. It's super quick to make espresso for my lattes and very clean to discard. If you have or are planning to get an illy espresso maker, I highly recommend getting a monthly subscription for these pods!

First up let me say, these are NOT K-cups. The pods will only fit an Illy coffee system machine(which you can buy on Amazon). Illy is a true old world Italian coffee family having been doing coffee since 1933. The company has kept at the front of the industry with excellent coffees and top of the line home use and industrial coffee makers. Tired of the same old coffee? Give this a try. Incidentally, you can get Illy in K-cups but I prefer the illy pod and coffee system.

Good product

These are Illy pods for the Illy machine - but they do not make espresso. It’s more of a small coffee, without any crema. The coffee is still good, but it’s not a ristretto like the machine would usually make. Make sure to read the details.

I got these for my new illy espresso machine which also makes regular coffee. When I brew coffee, I like Kenya coffee, which is richer. But as a change of pace, these capsules are a smooth and refined taste. And I love being able to just pop in the capsule and voila. No mess, no grinds to clean up.
