Fantastic crimpers
I upgraded from a $30 Amazon special pair of ratcheting crimpers, and these Knipex make a world of difference over those. The dots on the terminals allow you to quickly confirm that you used the correct size.

Absolutely amazing. This is far and away the best hand crimper out there. I have tried many crimpers, and even though the other crimpers out there look just like these.. they are WAY worse than these Knipex. These are even better than some USA made one's that are 3x the price.If you do crimps on a normal basis, you will greatly appreciate these immediately. Makes a perfect crimp, it is ratcheting (despite not advertised as such) and has a lever action at the end that is fine tuned to give perfect crimp pressure every time. No guessing how hard to squeeze or squeezing overly hard to "make sure" you activated the end of the ratchet cycle. The included die is superbly made, you can see it was fine tuned after forging to be very precise. It is also INCREDIBLY hard, going to last forever. Grip is a sort of hard plastic that has a slight rubbery/grippy touch, very nice. I thought it was just going to be the typical hard tool plastic, but it's a bit unique. Fit and finish of the overall tool is flawless (which is typical of Knipex), no burrs, marks, dents, scratches, or blemishes in the finish.Knipex is a fantastic company and hope they continue to focus only on quality regardless of price... there are plenty of "built to a price" tools out there from the usual importers, but the number of quality tools is diminishing. Very pleased with the purchase!

Perfect
This crimper really solves problems for me. I make complete wiring harnesses for hot rods for a living. These crimpers are so consistent. And they look great with a non-insulated butt connector. I found it best to use this with a solid butt connector with no seam.

Great crimpers just be extra careful and order the right one
This one is great, however I needed it for open ended quick connects and not butt connector terminals with the plastic cover over it. Hope you get a brand new one, I had a 67% success rate, 2 came brand new 1 came used but I purchased all 3 as brand new.

20 yrs in Controls BEST CRIMPER EVER
BEST CRIMPER ever. Perfect crimps Yellow/ Blue or Red. They don't pull out and look like factory crimps. Not cheep but they will pay for themselves in not throwing away BAD crimps.
