The spring popped off of the handle for the mouth. Does anyone know how I can put it back in?

I’ve unscrewed ours mouth open to get little legos out that got stuck and jammed its mouth but had no problem putting it back together. I would contact Fisherprcie’s Customer service to see if they have a solution before giving up.

Does anyone else have a problem with the tail coming off?

No, but since it seems to be detached to start with only to make the packaging smaller, you could probably just super glue it on. I don't think it would affect playability since it doesn't move. Just make sure the glue is totally dry before giving back to any child.

what size figures does it eat and where can I get more

It can any up to a retailer sized action figure and smaller dinosaurs. Great toy
