Very disappointing product.
1. Plates fall down on one another2. The spoons’ rack tilts or falls down at one side, if a spoon or knife is big or heavy3. The tray underneath the rack, which should be slanted, so the water can be drained, just after one week, it de shaped and swelled upward!!!Totally a waste of time and money. If possible please take it back!!

Brabantia need to redesign this
The drying rack looks great, spacious enough for our needs. However the rack is not designed to hold dinner plates, you need to insert a small plate at the end of the rack to hold the plates up. The wire rack itself needs to be higher and the whole unit has to be deeper. Just a tad too narrow. Does not feel we got value for the money paid. We did not return the item as we had washed it to use and in this uncertain period of the pandemic, does not feel it is worth the risk of venturing out to return it to an appropriate agent.

Perfect for minimalist kitchen!
I love this plate rack! I wanted a clean, minimalist look for our new kitchen and didn’t really want a drying rack at all. I tried for a bit without one but found it irritating so started looking for something low level and simple looking. I found this one and the reviews were mixed, but I thought I’d give it a go and it’s amazing! Yes, it comes with a pretty hefty price tag, but it’s so worth it in my view. Despite its low height l, it safely holds plates of all sizes. We have some huge dinner plates that don’t fit into the dishwasher well (hence we don’t use them every day) and it held nine of them very securely and still had space for more. Very pleased with this purchase.

looks good, but that is about it
I found this item to be 'style over substance! id say its relatively poor value for the price), flimsy materials (not suited for the use they have been put to) and poor manufacturing methods. The item looks very nice and pleasing until you actually use it. The thin tubular aluminium on the one I purchased now has bent sections when a mid=heavy weighted saucepan was placed on it, and I can see the aluminium tubing breaking off sometime soon. the whole aluminum structure is flimsy, thin and lightweight with no real integral strength - bits appear to be lightly 'riveted' together. Furthermore the uprights tubular sections are too low, so any thing tall and of decent weight is going to fall over - all too shallow. i suggest the ethos behind it is style over substance - not made to last in the real world (unless you use it to add just a few cups and side plates to dry), and will need to be discarded relatively soon for a replacement to be purchased. They certainly don't make things like they use to - and a very big pity and shame that is. given it 2 stars as it is good to look at

Well designed and functional
We bought this when we redid our kitchen, so that we didn't need to put in a draining board, and keep more worktop space. Therefore we put this away in a cupboard after we've dried the washing up. We've been using it for about 3 weeks now.It seems to be perfectly sturdy, both the aluminium frame and the plastic base. Because the lip projects lower than the base I worry it might snap off in the future as we move it around and maybe bash it against things but it's fine right now and that may be an unfounded worry.Perhaps most importantly, the slope on it and the lip are well designed. Our sink is slightly overmounted, so the lip is about 2-3mm above the level of the worktop. It still drains absolutely fine and keeps the wet off of our oak worktops really well. Also because the slope is sufficient it means that the water doesn't pool on the base and get manky. It seems to be pretty stylish too. It looks modern but not over the top. Our kitchen is relatively traditional and it looks perfectly in keeping.I think one improvement could be to put some (perhaps removable) feet into it to help it get over the lip of overmounted sinks.

Solid, good quality dish drainer
I've just had a new kitchen fitted and wanted a really smart new dish draining rack to match it. As a fan of Brabantia, I was very tempted by this, despite it being a little pricey, and the reviews were very positive. So pleased I ordered - it's heavy duty, and a nice size (the large fits my new sink area really well). The draining mat is really neat too. Very pleased with this so far.
