Reviews are not accurate as they are for the old quality suits not new cheapo suits
CURRENT REVIEW APRIL 2015:This is one forth suit. I have two boys ages 6 and 8 and the old style suits were exceptional quality. My 6 year old is wearing the suit that my old sun grew out of and, although the colors faded, the suit functions if it were brand new. I love it.Since my old boy grew out of his suit, we got him a replacement suit. I immediately noticed the difference. The company is trying to cut their costs down and started to cut corner on quality. The stitching is bad, the zipper is terrible. The first new style suit zipper broke on our 3rd swim so I ordered another suit (it was out of the 30 day warranty window, so I had to pay out of pocket). The new suit's zipper broke on the second swim. Terrible. See pictures for comparison of old vs new suit. I wish the company stayed with their original quality product. The reviews you see are no longer accurate. One star here. I have two just because of my good experience with the prior style.PRIOR REVIEW FOR OLD STYLE WUALITY SUITS GIVEN BACK IN 2011 OR SO:I did a lot of research on Amazon, reading customer reviews, and, ultimately, picked this suit for my 4- and 6-year olds. I got sizes 4 and 6. The suits were just a little too big for them. We had these suits for over a year now and I think I will need to buy larger sizes soon. My 7-year old had more swim lessons, so the blue started to fade. Other than that, the suits still look like new. Keep my kids warm during their swim lessons and look great! If you have a kid who is cold during his swimming lessons, this is a must have. From my research, this is the thickest suit out there for kids. And, again, very stylish too!

Great Wetsuit! Great Price!
I was really worried when I read some of the reviews. Specifically one saying that the suits weren't good quality anymore. We bought this for my son because he is really skinny and always gets super freezing cold when we go swimming. This suit is excellent quality and wonderfully made. It worked incredibly well and my son was able to enjoy himself for significantly longer amount of time at the pool. The size was perfect for him as well. Wonderful Price too!

A little on the large size, works well, very high quality material.
My son gets very cold during his swim lessons (partially from his medication) and he wasn't able to focus as well because he wanted to get out of the pool and get warm. I purchased the wetsuit to help insulate his body and keep him warmer while swimming. I pair it with a long sleeved rash guard (worn under the suit) during his lessons to help maximize the warmth. My husband explained to me that wetsuits work by circulating the water closer to your body, thus making the water stay warmer from your body temperature. I let my son get in the hot tub before his lessons start so his body temperature is higher and this combination has worked very well as a result. My son is very slender and I purchased this wet suit for him with the intention of him being able to grow into a little. I purchased a size 8 (he wears a 7 Slim in Children's Place clothing as a reference), so I knew the wet suit would be a little large circumference wise. As I hoped, the length was correct while the width was a bit large. He should be able to grow in this suit for a while. The wet suit itself is made of a very nice, thick (3 mm) material. It's very high quality (great stitching, good attention to detail, no loose pieces). I think it was a great value.

Needs size chart, my 4yr old is 1 inch shy of cutting this on leg circumference. Size in inch too plz to aid kids not at 50%tile
I've surfed 20 years so I know what a good suited is, and how it fits. The seams are not glued so expect some run there. And my 4yr old is not super small or anything but the size 4yr won't fit her until she's 6 I bet, at least 1 inch of gap between the suit and her legs. Maybe I'll order 1 more 3yr old one since eventually she'll fit this bit bummed since she's 4.5 and I'd have expected it to fit. Maybe add a size chart and specify in inches the leg and arm circumference so parents can check that way vs mixing all 4yr olds into 1 size.

Poor design. Tiny arms, huge legs
I have a tall, slender child. The proportions on this wet suit are ridiculous, like it was never actually tried on a human child. The arm holes are so small I had to cut them to get it over my child’s elbows. I would have thought I’d simply purchased the wrong size, but the leg holes were way too big and the torso length was pretty good.I ended up cutting 1 inch slits in both arm holes to widen them, then rolled the legs up a bit to get a tighter fit.I’m wondering if maybe I got a counterfeit version of this product. I noticed the stitching was very uneven too (looked like it was done by hand very poorly).I bought this suit because my child was having trouble getting through swim class because he got to cold (despite 80-ish degree water). With this suit class went much better and he was comfortable for about 20 minutes before he got too cold. Better thsn nothing, but I would not recommend due to the weird fit.

Seems good
The fit is as expected. It is a big bummer these things zip up the back, but otherwise this product looks awesome.*Addendum- after my two boys wore these for vacation, I noticed that each boy had a rash on the back of their neck. The neck piece goes up way too high in the back and abrades their necks. It bothered one boy so much he gave up wearing the suit. So my original four star rating is now two stars. I am disappointed in this product and would not recommend.
