Is there a grid for this softbox?

FYL....guess it depends on the week of the year... I did not receive a grid with mine..... Others may have, but I did not.... so Sounds like it is luck of the draw

Does this fold like a traditional rain umbrella keeping it in one piece? -or- is it foldable like paul buff plm with the rod in separate pieces? tia

Can it be used with an Einstein 640?

This is just a light modifier. Theoretically, as long as you have the proper mounting equipment for your strobe, speedlite, etc. Then yes you can use it with this modifier. It is pretty deep so it should be able to house your Einstein but it would be safe to measure it before ordering as well although I really don't see how it wouldn't fit.

Seems to do the job well!

I’m no expert in soft boxes but this was the biggest I could find for a reasonable price. I have come to appreciate the quality of Neewer products, and this lives up to what I expect. Nothing fancy and gets the job done. Easy to use. Easy to setup. Easy to take down. The bag is nice. Everything here is straight forward. I use a multi flash speedlite bracket with it.

Excellent for budget photographers

Great softbox for my speedlite, a nice budget solution for portrait photography. It works as intended and the build quality is more than acceptable, will see how it stands the test of time but so far its only positives.
