Brilliant
A must read book! It's my first Dan brown book and been wanting to restart reading habits. This puts me in place everyday to know what the next chapter is about. Can't wait to read the remaining series of books.

Another Breathtaking Dan Brown Story.
Being an avid fan of the Robert Langdon stories and unable to wait until September for the next one, I decided to buy the other two Dan Brown books. I was conscious that this one was Dan's debut and wondered if his addictive writing style would have been developed 18 years ago but decided to give it a go anyway. I need not have been concerned as this story gets straight into top gear and cascades the reader through a series of twists and turns in typical fashion. Naturally, any IT related story which is 18 years old is going to be a little dated in places but that does not distract from the attention to detail and unrivalled ability to deceive the reader into thinking an event has happened only to spin it in the next breath. I rarely describe a book as 'unputdownable' but Dan Brown has just delivered the 5th in a row. I now need to pace myself reading 'Deception Point' to make sure the gap between completing it and the release of 'Origin' isn't too great !!

Dan Brown has smashed it again!
I read the poor reviews because Robert Langdon isn’t the main character, which is frankly unfair.Take it as a new story and you can’t help but love it. Suspense, puzzle solving, relationships, the short chapters that means you can never put it down. Another excellent book from Mr Brown.

Exciting read
Huge fan of Dan Brown and I've read lots of his books. This book takes you on an adventure where fiction and reality gets blended - fantastic! I bought this for a friend as I was telling him about it and the comparisons to current day situations. He really enjoyed the book!

A good read...but predictable
Enjoyable book but probably the least favourite of all the Dan Brown books...and I have now read them all... Good story and well written but took the first 50 pages for me to get into it and I did put it down for a few days which is unusual. Once into it, I finished and enjoyed it although it was a touch predictable. Glad it was the last DB book I read and not the first. He is still one of my favourite authors.

Not very good.
I thought this book would be a good thriller and for a while it was.The author has constructed the book using a series of 2 or3 page chapters .The chapters jump from character to character with each chapter having a suspensfull ending. This system works for a while but after a while this gets a bit dull and there is very little character development. The book gets boring and eventually I didn't care about any of the characters or how the book ended. The book started on a high note but quickly went down hill.
