Ecco come trasformare i miei acquisti compulsivi (fortunatamente solo letterati) in qualcosa di utile e piacevole: Amazon Warehouse. A meno di tre euro questo volume nuovo di zecca, perfetto, intonso, era imperdibile. E c'è molto bisogno di Darwin in questo periodo di superstizione e misticismo...

This edition seems to content the full text work which is what I was looking for, compact in a "pocket edition". Very good price for a new book. The edition of the book looks also nice and the letter is redable. Only con is that it has no Darwin's (drawings nor) diagram(s) which is necessary to follow a part of one chapter.

In my mind there is no doubt that this is the greatest book on earth.If you are wide awake at night asking yourselves questions about the origin of all the species in this world and somehow quickly conclude that individuals have been created, then its time to wake up and get a copy of this book and break your beliefs.Indeed the contents of this book is outstanding from a naturalist perspective. On amazon, there are different paperback versions of this book sold by different seller and the one i bought, which is collins is pathetic. The bind is covered with dust and is completely brown in color. Honestly, i bought this seller because it was cheaper, which was a mistake. The outer cover is all dusty with scratches and is hideous. Other than that the inside pages are all fine. So, if you wanna buy this book, please try a different seller. Check this book out!

Excellent quality, inexpensive copy of Darwin's masterpiece. Having not read it before I am pleasantly surprised by the poetic flow and intricate beauty of his prose. I expected something far more scientifical. A compelling read and must-have for most bookcases. RECOMMEND!

No hay mucho que decir, después de tantas décadas, sigue siendo un texto importante para la humanidad. Charles Darwin conocía los riesgos de desafiar a la Iglesia Católica y debemos estar a su favor, como otros como Galileo y Copérnico. Recomiendo.
