The problem with folic acid is that it has to be metabolized by the small intestine and the liver in order to be converted into tetrahydrofolate (THF) and methyltetrahydrofolate (MTHF). Folate (in various tetrahydrofolate forms), on the other hand, is the form of B-9 that is naturally found in food. The L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (L-5-MTHF) form of folate is the natural metabolically active form of folate. Not only it is found in nature, but it is also the most easily absorbed form of vitamin B-9. In short, by supplementing with L-5-MTHF, you can be assured of getting the best form of vitamin B-9.

Bloodwork Results Speak Loudly

My Naturopath recommended I begin taking an activated form of a B-complex, and she approved of this brand. I was very deficient in B12 and Folate, but now my levels are on the rise. This is a good quality B. I did receive a discount for this review, but I cannot argue with my bloodwork results!

Can not recommend these vitamins

I can not recommend these vitamins. I’ve had a niacin flush twice after taking them and I’ve taken B complex for years with no trouble at all. I did notify the company but I’ll have to throw these vitamins out as I cannot subject myself to that torture.

I was told to add a Vitamin B Complex to my daily requirements by my doctor. ?is there a difference?

I realized why the pills looked different on my second order. Instead of B complex, I received B12 complex. I'm not sure if there's really a difference. I know b12 is an important component of a good b complex, but I didn't get what I ordered.I've been more fatigued and more easily stressed, but that may not be related or entirely related to the efficacy of the pills.

No way to know if it works

Don't buy it unless your Doctor recommends it. There's no way to tell if it has any benefit or how much is actually being metabolized by your body's system.
