Great fish oil for my dog.
Gave this to my dog every other day. Gave Nordic Naturals Omega 3 (for humans) on other days. Switching off gave him the boost he needed to fight cancer.Jarrow is a great company. I have experience after working in a health food store for a long time. They are one of the best.I recommend using this along with Omega 3 from Nordic Naturals (my favorite fish oil company for humans — they are dedicated to fish oils. The Krill Oil added extra, different nutrients in a different form, which is why I chose to use both. Price is great, too. But don't skimp on the nordic naturals. Both in combo are the best!!!

My preferred omega-3 oil pills
I have tried several different fish oil pills. I have had the disgusting taste pop up in my mouth over and over again. I found this to work wonders for me. I will say this, I have found for myself, if I take the pills with or shortly after a meal, I have do not taste the oil later. Never have had an upset stomach from this...the pills do stink... but please read on...Others will state that krill oil isn't necessary and salmon fish oil is just as good. I say and know that the lower you go on the food chain the purer the quality of food is. Krill eats only phytoplankton, copepods, zooplankton and algae, but salmon will eat what is available to them in the ocean or water that they inhabit, and those food items are usually plankton or small invertebrates. Other species will eat small insects, if available, and some larger species will go after small fish. In addition, farm raised salmon has been found to have levels of toxins within it. True fact, krill will go an extremely long time without eating if they're regular food isn't available to them.I try my best to make wise choices as to what I eat and I sleep soundly knowing that pills comes from animals that also makes wise choices as to what they would eat.

Great quality
Great quality. Now I can stop doing my deep ocean, dives and fighting with blue whales to get enough krill down my gullet.😂

Seemed to be already opened
Not sure how these are stored, but the sea came off with the cap so I don't know if it was actually sealed and it looked like some exploded and smelled very rancid (I've had these before and never had an issue. Returning these tomorrow)

I also do not like fish nor can I swallow big pills so I ...
As a full time Master's student with full time employment I struggle with brain fog, recall and short term memory issues that I mostly attribute to stress. I also do not like fish nor can I swallow big pills so I knew I had to find something to supplement my meager Omega 3 levels. I have been taking one pill a day for about 3 weeks. Wow, I can tell a big difference in my brain function. I don't feel foggy and my recall has definitely improved. I mentioned this to my dad who is 80 and very active and he started taking it and said he too can see a difference. Overall, my well being has improved as well as my brain function. I am a very happy customer! Here is a size comparison to an Aleve tablet (no, it's not Viagra)

Smells awful, but seems to be a quality product
I put this on subscribe & save because I like it enough to continue using it. I've tried other fish oil products before but this one seems to have the most positive effect on my well-being, and does not break me out which has been an issue with other products. I can't say exactly why; maybe this is a cleaner product, or my system just likes it better. The noticeable benefits are subtle for sure and you do have to take it consistently for a while to notice them, but I think it's worth it. It's important to remember that a lot goes on behind the scenes in your body that you can't necessarily always "feel." I believe taking this benefits the functioning of the body beyond what is perceptible by the person and will continue to use it. I am docking one star because this smells horrific. I've never used fish oil that smelled nearly this bad. Fortunately, it does not seem to be much of an issue after taking, and I don't usually notice nasty burps or anything. It is very strong and sickening when you open the bottle; I've found it helps to put them in a daily pill organizer as being out of the bottle seems to make the smell dissipate. Overall, I would recommend this product.

More potent than fish oil!!
I have been following the Bulletproof Supplement protocol by Dave Asprey for quite some time now. The regimen calls for a gram of krill oil per day. To be honest I can't recommend krill oil based solely on its efficacy since its effects weren't pronounced enough to notice a huge difference. What I will say though, from a biochemistry standpoint, is that krill oil is a already phosphorylated and thus is utilized by the brain almost immediately. One positive effect was I felt less foggy. Tim Ferris writes on his blog that krill oil is 48x more potent than fish oil due to its aforementioned chemical composition. Additionally krill oil is generally less polluted and has the benefit of astaxanthin (the stuff that makes the oil red) which is proven a powerful antioxidant.I would definitely recommend this to people who are trying to get the same benefits of fish oil and don't want to have to take grams upon grams of it.

Replace fish oil with krill oil
First heard of Krill Oil from reading the bulletproof diet. Apparently all Omega-3s are not created equally. Those derived from Krill are phosphorylated (I haven't confirmed this myself as a mass spectrometer is not readily available to me), making them more bioavailable. Makes sense to me, as in general biological molecules with phosphorylation marks and other such modifications behave much differently than the unmodified forms (especially true for proteins). Krill, being the magnificent creatures they are, also contain large quantities of Astaxanthin, a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory substance that gives many fish and in this case krill their pinkish color.I took some triple-strength, maximum human allowable dosage fish oil pills before switching to these. These contain around 4x less Omega-3s than the fish oil bollus I was ingesting previously, but I honestly feel about the same.
