Atomi Smart Color-Changing String Lights– 48ft, 24 Shatterproof Bulbs 20W, Tunable, Dimmable, Outdoor IP65, White and Color-Changing 2500K-9000K, App Control, Works with Alexa and Google Assistant

The house I bought in August ‘23 had three strings of Atomi 48’ installed by the previous owner. Two of the three strings were not working. There was no way to reconnect them to our 2.4g WiFi signal. I ordered two additional sets of 48’. Our pool cage has a 150’ perimeter needing three 48’ sets to hang around the whole enclosure. One string purchased in late August and the second string in October.I went through the aggravation of taking down the old sets and replacing with the new. I followed the instructions on how to pair and group the three sets so they would work together as one string. Everything worked well until last week. Everyone loved the capabilities of the Atomi lights, including me.That was short lived. One night last week one string of the three in that group would not reconnect to the WiFi and it was showing up as “offline”. I tried re-establishing the set to no avail. The set is recognized by the app but it would not reconnect no matter what I tried. It just blinks red waiting to pair, eventually it fails with each attempt.It seems that the previous owner had similar problems but never did anything about replacing the faulty sets. I don’t know how to get in touch with the company so I am hoping someone from ATOMI will read this review and correct the situation. Hopefully, the replacement set will last longer. These lights are quite attractive and the lights themselves are quite impressive with regards to function and brilliance.Not sure if this is a common problem with Atomi but if this problem is corrected they really are worth the money. I’ll edit this review based on their response.EDITED RESPONSE BELOW;Someone from the company did reach out to me shortly after writing the review and corrected the above situation. However, now a year and a half later another problem popped up. I came out one evening and approximately 10 of the lights in the middle of one of the stings had were changing colors slowly with the first bulb blinking rapidly. I tried turning off the set through the app but there was no response. I found a way (through Amazon) to reach out to Atomi support. I drafted an email describing my issue and within 5 mins had an AI generated response suggesting a way to correct the issue. The response spelt out step by step on the corrective procedure. I followed the instructions and much to my surprise the issue was corrected!I wasn’t aware that the light bulb shape could be unscrewed from the base. Apparently moisture or the circuit/LED was slightly loose on the bulb that was flashing quickly. Once the bulb was removed I blew into the base and reset the lens cover. Following the instructions corrected the issue.So glad to have everything working as it should. I am constantly receiving complements from friends on how wonderful the lights add to the atmosphere.If I ever add more lights I would t even give a moments thought to another manufacturer. I bought my first set at Costco and loved them so much that I got my next two sets on Amazon. We have a 3 way wraparound porch and 3 sets go all the way around it perfectly. I've had them up in PA weather and they are still working. I'm having some trouble syncing them because I didn't download the app on my phone but my Fiances iPhone. I don't get to mess with it enough to have time to make it work. I use the 3 control boxes on my 3 sets to sync the colors and they work fine that way. There are multiple settings and I like that I can use red for Valentines day, multi-color for Easter, red and green for Xmas, and red, white, and blue for a couple holidays. They even have the white option when you just need to see a little better outside on our porch.Overall these lights seem sturdy and weatherproof. I wish that I had the rime and energy to get them to work from my phone, but they work even if you don't have them hooked up. The Smart feature is a nice touch. Maybe this summer when the PA weather finally startes to be less insane I will sit outside and program them correctly.

There are few options for colors and or patterns. And, you cannot program your own.You CAN choose two colors of your own choosing.One final very important thing, after a rain, the last 10 or 12 lights on the string, do their own thing, like blink on their own random colors, etc. Even if the rest of the string is programmed for say, AMERICA, these bulbs do not follow that or any other pattern if it had rained recently. I am not sure if it is water from the bulbs or water near the power.Eventually, it will dry out and act as it should but it is annoying as heck.

I must say these lights really amaze me! From the moment I picked them up on my front porch. The weight of them was impressive. I was reluctant on spending $130 on a set of lights, but now I am so happy I pulled the trigger! I unboxed them and WoW! A very good quality item! The cord is thick, The bulbs are solid. My fiance was really impressed and loved them also! That is a PLUS! I couldn't wait to get them hung on my screened in deck. I got the 48 ft set. Very easy to hang. Could be done with hooks, but I chose to use screws because I will never take them down. They were the perfect length for what I needed! It took me about an hour+ to hang them because I am a perfectionist and they needed to be just right! After they were hung and plugged in it took less than 5 minutes to get set up with the app and programmed to go on and off on a schedule. I do believe these complaints about the app not working or not being able to connect are from people who just aren't technologically intuitive or just didn't have patience and take the time to go through the instructions thoroughly. It really was simple.A friend of mine came over shortly after getting them hung and asked where I got them! I told him how much they were and that didn't matter to him...He loved them also! I have a feeling he will be getting a set! (Any perks for referring a friend?)I normally never give anything a 5 star rating unless I am completely impressed! This set of lights deserve a 5 star in my opinion. Granted this is on the first day of owning the item. Time will tell if I keep it a 5 star! For now...Definitely!Definitely worth the money! Without a doubt in my mind! Pull the trigger! I doubt you will be disappointed!The pictures that I added include a set of discontinued Atomi Smart white lights on the cieling. They are brighter than the smart color lights.

Love these! If they’re too far from WiFi box they sometimes can’t connect but I love how you can change colors and match them to whatever holiday or vibe you’re looking for. I have 5 strands connected in my back yard and I just control them from my phone. Would definitely order more.
