JBL Quantum 400 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headphones with USB - Black (Renewed)

Bought this headset for a birthday gift for a gamer. He loves it. This headset really is great i own the quantum 1 and it is really close in quality to it. Feels and sounds very similar hard to tell the difference. The flip up mic is nice gets out of the way for him. Very comfy to wear for hours of play. The RGB can be set via 0c to do lots of scenes and when you unplug and use it in another console like ps5 it carries over the last set Rgb and lights up. Again sound is great and you get all the quantum engine features like JBL is good for. It did come with an 8mm analog head phone cable to attach to all other devices that don't use usb audio. You can get your own usb c to usb c cable and go to phones and c to lighting to use on iPhone. Great for gaming and you can set the equalizer to raise 2khz to really hear fps footsteps.

Had issues connecting it, since it came with a slew of options. Once I got it running, I found them great! Especially on sale.

First pair I got from here came in broken and needed to be exchanged. Physically broken, the left cup was broken off of the headband. Got an exchange fairly quickly though. Overall, he headphones are good, pretty comfortable and the sound quality is pretty good with both the audio cable and the USB cable. The different options in the software are interesting, though need some tweaking. Only bad thing so far is that, when using the USB cable and playing a game, there is an occasional 'popping' or 'crackling' noise. It's not constant or regular, just seems to happen randomly, and I have no idea what could be causing the problem, since it doesn't seem to happen when using the audio cable.

This is my main audio source for my desktop. A bit heavier than the 300 but with the lighting option and adjustable chat volume and same comfort level for all day work and play, I have relegated my 300 for work only. The Quantum engine has me looking around the room for where the directional sounds are coming from. JBL is the best rig at the best price I have found to date.

JBL quality, sound, ....first set lasted 5 years- heavy used and abused. Bought them again. Highly recommend.

I bought these to use with my Xbox, but they appear to be more of a PC headset so far. Plugging directly into the Xbox controller via the audio jack the RBG does not work but, more importantly, neither does the mute function. These features do, however, work when plugged into the PC via usb. There is a chance that they will actually work when plugged directly into the Xbox via the usb port instead, so I'll have to try that later. The usb cable is more than long enough that trying shouldn't be an issue without needing to move my console closer. Sound quality is amazing and I love having the volume and chat balance dials right there, easily accessible. And I love how the headset feels to wear. It's snug enough they don't feel like they'll fall off easy, yet comfortable enough my ears/head don't feel squished after a few hours of use. Noise cancelling seems to be decent. Right now I've got them on while there's a lawn mower going on outside, and I can't hear it over the audio of the video I'm watching. Overall, I'm enjoying them a lot so far! Edit: plugging the headphones via USB into the Xbox will cause them to light up, but sound cannot be heard. Plugging the headphones into the controller at the same time as usb will cause the lights to go out but sound to be heard. Still a decent headset.

They look good, especially with the rgb. The ear pads are super comfortable, the band may be a bit tight on my head but not too bad and they sound really good considering. Decent bass, mid and really clear highs. I personally wouldn't use them for music but for gaming they're pretty damn good, but wouldn't pay full price for these. The driver part are nicely constructed but I can tell that the band and forks that connect to the drivers won't last heavy use. I'm not a huge gamer so they should last me a couple years anyway. They sound pretty basic with my Xbox but they really shine when connected via USB on my pc. The surround sound feature really sounds good, too bad that same feature doesn't work with the consoles, maybe the wireless models do. Like I said, they're good, but not worth full price and I very happy with the condition they came in considering they're Amazon renewed. Practically brand new, only the box looked a bit ragged but otherwise super happy I saved $60 on these. Go renewed with these or if they go on sale because if I paid full price I definitely would have been disappointed.
