It definitely works great in charging vmount batteries. No issues in over heating. Charges fairly fast.

Good for V Mounts
I use this to charge my V mount Soonwell 98W Hr battery. Fast charge and the power adapter has a light indicator, so I know when the battery is done charging. Great charger overall.
