These stairs are firm. If you needed to put them between the bed and wall and it was a tight fit, the stairs could probably be squeezed a half-inch, but they are not adjustable width stairs

are new covers available for purchase? i have a 5 step but cover shrank so much after first washing, i cannot get it bak onto steps?
