I feel like the slowest mode is still pretty fast. It is perfect for beginners like me as I am not sure if this hobby will be a long term one. I used it for the layered cake batter, the whipping cream and it works really well. Could be heavy if you hold it for more than 4 mins but nth major.

So far I have no complaints about this handheld mixer, was using this for our brownie day and it's got a tolerable weight to it, the mixer just simply snaps onto the storage container, and a easy way to detach it is to pull the side from a open hole where the electric cord meets, has a speed boost button so you can quickly crank up the speed, the eject is not even sensitive so you wouldn't have to worry about accidentally ejecting the mixing attachments when you shut off the mixer, it blends everything in the batter so far so good, very great quality!

Works Great. Love how there is a cover and it stores the beaters and whisk.
