So this was in exchange to another hub that I have been using which used to get hot. This one does too (like others) but is much less than the one I had last time. I've been a happy user of it for more than 1.5 yrs, continuous usage.

Works perfectly with windows sometimes will require to attach the power as it's require more power

Firstly, the product is amazing for use it. User friendly and all the necessary 9 ports available for easy plug and play functions. Very compact and stylish. Reasonable price compared to other branded products. Satisfied and enjoying use it!!!

I like how compact this is but three months later the USB-C connection stopped working and the device is useless. It should still be under warranty so I will try to get a replacement.

Overall, it is a compact and good device except the USB Type-C for the display port is a disappointment. It is does not connect an external monitor via its USB Type-C. One has to connect the monitor directly to PC/ Laptop with Thunder Bolt Connection or USB Type-C.

I used all the 9 ports and work fine with my HP spectre 13, one thing should notice that VGA and HDMI do not work at the same time. Good to check the laptop compatibility before purchase, all laptop with USB C port may not be compatible. I tried with my friend’s Asus Vivobook S431F laptop, all port is functional but VGA and HDMI not working with Asus Vivobook S431F. The cable length could be a little longer.

Edited Review: This is a very versatile product but within less than a year and it stopped working completely. No power indicator or anything just suddenly stopped working. Highly appreciate that UGreen team contacted me immediately and they arranged for a replacement efficiently. I would say that best customer service from a 3rd party seller so far. UGreen team assured that the product is covered with 24 months of warranty and I can contact them if any further issues.The product istself working perfectly fine for me using Dual display, multiple USB devices etc.

Firstly it does everything it claims for my xps 13. Except for power pass through for charging the laptop - apparently it doesn't pass on enough juice, so bios complains that charging and performance will be slower.Second issue is that you don't want one of these with a built in cable. Because it will break, and/or break the socket on your laptop. This thing pulls a lot of weight when it's full of cables. It's already showing signs of damaging my usb c socket on the laptop. I always use a laptop stand so this adapted is hanging off the side with all the weight on the socket. Not good. I bought an extension cable but it doesn't work reliably. Instead this should have a USB socket so you can use whatever length usb c cable suits your needs.One other point which probably isn't the fault of this product: when I have 3 USB 2 or 3 devices plugged in, they don't work. Presumably they need too much power. Eg USB webcam, mic, and ring lamp - one or more of them won't work when plugged in simultaneously. Pretty critical if you're doing a quick zoom interview while travelling. Haven't tried plugging in power to the adapter at the same time, might fix it.

Lamento decirlo, pero estoy muy decepcionado con este producto... Lo tuve en la mira durante casi 3 meses, pues tengo una laptop con 3 puertos USB, pero como no tiene puerto Ethernet y la uso para jugar, tengo que conectar muchas más cosas. El adaptador USB Ethernet (1), Mouse (2), Teclado (3) y Headset (4). Al tener este HUB, solo iba a ocupar un puerto que tenía libre: USB-C.Por fin me decidí y lo pedí, llegó al día siguiente, en excelentes condiciones el empaque y todo. Lo conecté al puerto USB-C, metí el cable Ethernet y los otros periféricos restantes. Ningún problema durante 1 minuto o un poco menos. Después empezó a quedarse pegado el mouse (Logitech G903 inalámbrico NUEVO), y creí que no estaba cargado, pues lo pedí junto con este HUB, así que lo conecté a un puerto de carga rápida de mi laptop para ver si era eso. Todo funcionaba perfecto mientras NO estaba conectado al HUB. Lo volví a introducir al HUB y pues otra vez funcionó bien durante el primer minuto, después se quedaba pegado tanto el mouse, como el teclado.Busqué esta falla en internet y lo único que encontré relacionado fue un post en un foro, que indicaba desinstalar el driver del HUB, desconectarlo y volverlo a conectar. Esto fue un poco conforante porque sí me funcionó y pasó el límite del minuto (alrededor de 5, ahora). Pero eventualmente volvieron a quedarse pegados el mouse y el teclado.Imagínense, si el propósito principal era conectarle mis periféricos gamers, a media partida, que se me quede pegado el mouse y el teclado? NO. JAMÁS. No puedo darme ese "lujo". Me hubiera gustado poder utilizarlo sin problema, pues la estética es 10/10 y tiene tantas entradas para tantas cosas que ya no necesitas más adaptadores. Pero si no iba a poder utilizar mouse y teclado al mismo tiempo, no tiene sentido conservar el HUB.Yo pienso que tal vez hay algún problema de sincronización de los puertos de transmisión del HUB que hace que la información mandada por el mouse y teclado se traslapen y se inhiban las acciones, no sé.Ya hice el proceso de devolución, no lo tuve conmigo ni 24 horas... Tengo un HUB de 4 USD al que actualmente conecto el teclado y headset, se ve feo, pero cumple la función. Would have given five stars but when you connect USB or sd ect, it wants to format, which of course destroys information. OK so I can transfer info, format and then transfer back but do you want to be doing this all the time. Loses two stars for not being as friendly as it could be.

the gigabyte LAN port only works after driver installation provided in the mini cd from the package. during the installation an authorization is required for an additional "file extension" with a chinese name. anxious to try out the LAN port i have it permitted and hope it is not some creepy backdoor to send my personal data to Beijing. the USB 3.0 ports are plug and play though I have not tried out the other hdmi or sd card slots yet. im not using power delivery either so the hub gets warm but not as hot as some others may have suggested.

This hub promises a lot. Have set up with a Surface Go and have an external monitor, ethernet and mouse/keyboard, and power supply connected. Everything is functioning. However, my Surface Go reports that it is on a slow charge, even though the charger connected is a USB C 60w charger and has no other devices connected to it. If this hub is a 100w PD throughput why is it reportedly slow charging? I'm pleased that at least I can see that the charge is increasing through, but it should be fast-charging.
