Hada Labo Rohto Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Foam, 160ml

This is a great cleanser I use in the morning and night. I use one pump and it's so foamy! Other cleanser I'd have to use more or spend a longer time to get a nice lather. I know this cleanser is fragrance-free, but I smelled some sort of odd odor when it was spreading it over my face. I'm not sure what it is because I opened the bottle and smelled it and the smell wasn't there. I also smelled my fingers but that wasn't it either. So, I'm not too sure. The smell wasn't horrible but I guess it may take me some time to get used to.After washing my face with this my face is not oily nor dry, but I do know I need to put on products afterwards or else it'll be really dehydrated. Some say the new formulation has stripped their skin, but I wouldn't say that happened to me (I have very oily and sensitive skin). So after cleansing, I would continue with the rest of my skincare routine and it would feel very plump and hydrated afterwards.

I have Asian skin, and sometimes I feel like my skin is a little more sensitive. This is exactly what I need. I started using this, and something about this immediately felt right. It felt good to my skin, and cleanses it really well while still being light.My girlfriend with a different skin type even tried it and loved it as well. For the time being, this is my FAVORITE skin cleanser and you should be good to go with anything related to this brand. Tempted to just bulk buy these because I really do like this product. I would give it more than 5 personally.

Great daily facial soap!I have been getting into asian skincare slowly, one product at a time. When I was happy with my lotion mask method, I added a new serum, then an essence, and finally soap. Backwards -yes- but it was easier on my budget and made sense to me. Oil washes are good for heavy makeup users, but I don't wear a lot of makeup, just concealer and powder as needed. Due to my light makeup use, I opted for Hada Labo's Gokujyn foam (specifically to match my Gokujyn lotion). It's fantastic!The scent is slightly clinical, but I got used to it quickly. The lack of scent makes it easy to start my day with, plus my husband doesn't mind using it because it is neutral. The pump works simply and easily, plus it came with a brace so the pump wouldn't accidentally depress in transit. After removing the clip-on brace, I pumped the pump a few times to work the product into the shaft. Once it was primed and ready, I splashed my face with warm water and dispensed some soap into my hand. The foam is smooth, and easily lathers. In one brief wash my makeup was removed entirely, and my face felt clean. After rinsing and patting my face dry, I apply the Gokujyn lotion, then moisturize as I need.Since I have been washing twice a day with this foam, I have fewer breakouts because the cleanings are more effective. It took a while to arrive, but it's worth the wait.

It’s very foamy and lathers well. It doesn’t require an excessive amount of product to cover and wash your face. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean without irritation or drying.I have textured combination skin, with an oily T zone and dry skin around my mouth and chin area.

I double cleanse and this is the perfect second cleanse. Mild and good for sensitive skin!

I was hoping that since the images were of the original white bottle I wouldn't receive the reformulated version, but like some other reviewers I received the new blue bottle. This used to be a holy grail gentle cleanser. For context, I have sensitive combo skin and generally love Hado Labo products. The reformulated product has a super fine and plush feeling foam; very light scent even while I was actively trying to detect it (kind of soapy); and was borderline drying. The white bottle left my skin feeling clean but nice and lightly hydrated at the same time; the new blue bottle almost feels stripping. My face doesn't feel tight but I can feel that it's on the edge of being uncomfortable. If you have dry skin to begin with you might have a bad time with this. So it's just fine now; definitely not a repurchase. :( This was such a perfect cleanser that everyone seemed to love, so I don't know why they felt the need to reformulate. Maybe they had no choice due to ingredient availability, who knows. Either way, this will be my last bottle.

A great product. Long use. Almost one year. I felt my skin pretty good after using it.
