If you wish you had more storage space on your PC and have a spare SATA 2.5" slot, you can't go wrong with this Patriot P210 512GB SSD. I chose this model because Patriot has been around for a long time and is known for its quality memory products.Installing it was as simple as opening the PC, screwing this into the SATA slot, connecting the cable, and booting up the PC. It was immediately recognized by Windows as a storage drive, and I was able to double my storage space in under 5 minutes. Very handy to store files such as music, videos, and games to free up space on the OS drive, and serves as a good backup for files in case of hardware failure.

My mini PC has a 2.5" expansion slot. I was able to install Linux to this SSD and it works great! It is sufficiently fast and the price is right. I've had no issues thus far. I would recommend it.

Great SSD for the price.

The drive was install over a month now and it working okay. The speed is good and problem with installing.

It's a decent drive, it's cacheless so it still has some lag but not nearly as slow as any HDD. Only downside I had was my delivery person missed the fact that my house and my mailbox both had my address on them and still tossed it to my elderly neighbor who went out of town for 2 days. Other than that no complaints lol

I am building a workstation computer from scratch to primarily run Solidworks 3D CAD (computer aided design) and wanted it to be as powerful as possible for the lowest reasonable cost. I try and go for products that represent the “knee” in the price-performance curve. For example, you are generally far better off getting something that at half the price that might only perform at 90% of the device costing twice as much. Frequently the difference is only in milliseconds, which you will never notice. I also look for products that are from reputable manufactures and have received decent reviews. This Patriot p210 512GB SSD was part of my build and meets the above criteria.
