CAT Footwear Men's Elude Wp Chukka Boots

I've been wearing these as my casual boots for many years, always wondering when CAT will stop making them so have spare pair in a box for the day when my current pair wear out. i'm now on pair 3 (in about 8 years! ) surprisingly water resistant, super comfortable and always look good with jeans. simply put, these are well made and last for 100's of miles. Not a hiking boot but as a day boot they are capable of staying comfortable all day with 5-8 mile easy terrain walks with ease. Fantastic product.

My recently-retired Cat boots are 10 years old and have been fantastic but, as I've now worn right through the sole, it's time to bid them a sad farewell. I really wanted an exact replacement but it would appear they're no longer available. These new Eludes seem pretty good but I've only worn them a couple of times for my daily 4-5 mile march on Tarmac. It's probably a bit early to review them but here's some feedback comparing them to my old Cats. I'll update if things change.. **GOOD** --They look great --They're waterproof (not tested though) --The soles are very shock-absorbing and comfortable --The quality seems very good even though these were made in China and my others in Vietnam **NOT SO GOOD** -- No eyelets on most holes so laces can stick -- No rear tab to help you pull the boots on -- Laces not quite as heavy-duty as I'd like -- Toe area is a bit narrower than I'd like so toes feel a tad cramped at the moment -- This point will, I hope, almost certainly change, but so far I'm not too wowed with the overall comfort. After the 2 walks I've done my feet were more than happy to see them being removed, we're in the middle of a heatwave though so that doesn't help. To conclude: great-looking, well made boots that, for me at least, are not as instantly and completely comfortable as my last Cats were. Comfort should almost certainly improve though, especially with a return to our default cool and showery weather (ie fairly soon then). **UPDATE NOV 2018** I have put a few miles on these now and can report that they are supremely comfy. In addition, the high-quality uppers are still pristine- the boots still look new. I therefore have absolutely no hesitation in upgrading my award from 4 to 5 stars

I use these for walking several miles a day on roads, paths, across fields and over rocks. I also wear them to the pub. They are comfortable, waterproof and they grip well - better than my walking boots. I’ve been wearing them daily for six months and there’s no significant signs of wear yet but I’ve bought another pair for when these wear out.

Have been enjoying it for a month now. Stylish and functional. The leather quality is so good, CAT afterall. The comfort and the slight arch form-fitting the feet is fab. Perfect for light drizzle and all outdoor activities.

The most comfortable footwear I have ever had. Hard wearing and look great, I usually have size 11 in shoes and boots and 12 in trainers, these are no exception.

Delivery was great by DPD,boots look great and are very light,slightly lined inside so will be cosy. Got a £10 off discount so only paid £60 for these!! I am normally a size 11 but in boots sometimes i do a 10 so am probably a 10.5 really,I bought uk11 but also state 45,which ive found to be a 10.5 in other shoes so went with this. The boots are perfect width,slightly big on length but once laces done seems a good fit,I wouldn’t get away with their size 10. Hope this helps.

These are the ones. CAT comfort, quality and construction are well known and these boots don't disappoint. I normally take a 10.5 or 11 if that size isn't available. The size 11 pair that I am currently wearing are just right. Slightly relaxed fit - not sloppy or too wide and not that roomy that I could wear a second pair of socks. Just what I wanted. The comfort is amazing with the lining and rubber soles working together to create a very stable but cushioned walking feel. Grip is very good on wet surfaces. Not checked snow so far.

Been wearing these boots for years! - depending on when you buy them they can be expensive but as usual you only get what you pay for, but can be on offer. Regarding the different colours it will clearly be a case of 'each to thier own' but for the boot itself then they are stylish, well wearing and so comfy! - you put these on with a decent pair of socks and away you go. One note is that the sizes are slightly on the smaller size, especially if you wear quick thick socks generally...

Aunque a primera vista pueden parecer un poco bastas, son unas botas bastante bonitas y muy resistentes para el día a día (no para salir a hacer senderismo en condiciones, claro). Aguantan bien la lluvia, la pisada es cómoda y no se hacen pesadas; además, se pueden llevar durante todo el día sin problema alguno.

Las botas son correctas, me quedan bien , calidad Caterpillar. El problemas es que en el pie izquierdo tiene una rozadura, ya ha sido maniplado anteriormente no la devuelvo por el precio asumo que lo estaban liquidando y me lo quedo......por ese detallle no le pongo mejor calificacion
