FANTASTIC KNIFE, WORTH EVERY CENT !!!
This knife is simply Awesome weight & feel are spot on for a knife this size, it seems pretty balanced for a folder. It's not bulky, the materials & build are of a high standard & quality. The liner lock, locks the blade in place VERY well & the blade feels very secure when unfolded, the blade isn't loose (no slight jiggle, very firm & in place). It will take a few times of opening & closing to "loosen up" the swivel so it swings more smoothly. The Blade is NOT polished to a mirror finish as the last one I had was; not that it matters. The bolsters ARE buffed to a mirror finish which makes them a finger print magnet, but again that doesn't really matter as it will be in my pocket most of the time. IF you are looking for a REALLY NICE pocket knife for general everyday use at a good price that is backed by a solid name you CAN'T go wrong with this blade. I have spent 5X's the amount on other pocket knives (various brands) only to end up worrying that they would get lost, stolen or damaged. At this price point you can't go wrong, it will be easy to replace if lost stolen or damaged, looks great, feels comfortable in the hand when using. I'm pretty sure it will be as easy to sharpen & hold an edge as the last one was & last but NOT LEAST..it's got cool factor going on due too the shape of the blade ... which is unique! it's kinda got that barbarian/pirate/bowie hunter thing going on...LMAO

ALMOST pefect. almost.
This knife is a Barbara Streisand. Almost pefect. Sharp looking, decent steel, well balanced. Except no assisted opening, no flip open. Why would you not just put something on the back of the blade to at least make it easy to open? and it is a bit stiff quite honestly. Such an own goal. Im keeping it but I had to think about it long and hard. I mean it has easy open in the name. Thats almost misleading advetising. Be aware, if you buy this knife you will be opening it like they taught you in boy scouts. But apart from that its great.

Collector
It's a sog, so there is no play in the blade, it's a nice knife, the thumb stud could stick out a little more for faster opening, but it's solid and sharp, the ends of it when closed are buffed out so good, they look like chrome, I sold this knife then missed it in my collection so I bought another one, should of never sold the first one, over all good knife

Classy and rugged. A fine piece.
Avid knife collector here. This is like a 'dress knife. Feels great in hand. super smooth operation. When folded its a great size to clip in jean pocket. When open its bigger than expected, shiny, pretty, and sharp as could be. I get a compliment every time i pull it out. Good steel holds an edge well. Bought it for my dad's birthday and fell in love with it, he almost didn't get it, cause I wanted to keep it. (And I have a collection of more than 200 pcs) A month later I bought myself one. 6 mos later, my 20 y/o son asked to borrow a kinfe, and he said, thats really nice, whered you get it? I said keep it. 2 weeks later I bought another one, then my 17 y/o son where to get one, I gave him mine and ordered another one for myself to KEEP. Yep, that's 4 of 'em I bought. I LOVE 'EM. So will you.

Perfect everyday carry knife
I cannot say enough good things about this knife. I picked this up when my trusty Gerber pocket knife finally gave up on me after about 10 years of daily use. I cant leave the house without a pocket knife on me, I feel naked without one. Chances are I will forget my wallet before my knife I use them so much. That said this knife has far exceeded my expectations. It is very comfortable in hand when I am using it. The shape conforms to my grip perfectly and the handle has just enough grip that it never slips. As far as ergonomics and balance this knife is perfect. The blade is probably one of the sharpest I have had out of the package and stayed sharp far beyond what I expected. I am used to having to sharpen my knife about once every two weeks (again a lot of daily use) and after 2 months of use this knife is still very sharp. Even more impressive I have yet to pick up even a single nick in the blade. I use it to cut all sorts of things include wire, cardboard and acrylic sheets, and may other things that will normally chew up a blade and dull it very quickly, yet this knife has taken them all in stride. The construction is great. It is put together solidly and tightly. There is zero blade wobble that a lot of pocket knifes have and it locks very solidly when open. The pocket clip is night and tight so I have no worries about losing it. I have only one issue with this knife and that is the thumb stud to open the blade is a little small for my hands. While I do have huge hands (wear xxl gloves for reference), my thumb is to big to get it started from a closed position. I have learned to start it with my thumb nail, then hit the stud which works so I can still open it with just one hand, its just slightly more difficult. On top of all that this is a great looking knife. Aesthetics are a pretty low concern for me compared to function, so I have actually found it kind of odd how many comments I have gotten on this knife when I pull it out on a job site. I have had numerous people ask to see it and I know for sure at least 2 of them have pick up similar sog knifes after using mine. That alone should speak volumes for this knife.

It's a cheap knife...in the US, but due to the excessive charges in Japan, the product isn't worth the money. The blade alignment is terrible, it was so far off to one side it was rubbing against the liner. The blade is a sloppy fit, the thumb stud is not easy or comfortable to use due to insufficient access and the liner lock worked very inconsistently due to poor grinding tolerances resulting in poor locking which is dangerous. I had to take the knife apart, grind the back of the blade where the liner lock fits, adjust and centre the blade and grind the thumb stud access recess to make it easier and more comfortable to use. A gas station blade at an extortionate price.
