I'm new to fly tying and I really like this bag. Construction is solid and the layout for all the storage is spot on. It's not huge, and I can see growing out of this if I really get into tying. Probably would be great as a travel bag for serious tiers. The only negative I can think of, and this is nit-picking, is the zippered storage pockets are difficult to see through. They are "frosted" with mesh integrated into the material. Very sturdy, but a clear plastic would have been better.One other thing to mention, the thread spool storage circles are really tight. The smaller spools fit super snug, the larger spools don't really fit well at all.Overall, very happy with this bag.

I had high hopes for this product, but sadly for what it offers its overpriced and does not provide much space. The way the thread spools storage is handled is a gigantic waste of space compared to the previous compareable product. And doesn't fit a lot of wire thread spools. No good place for hooks and no real space for hook boxes either.

High quality just know it does not come with any supplies. A little reading will tell you this. I am completely satisfied with this for my traveling and am thinking of buying another one.

I bought this for my husband who ties a ton of flies. He carries a vise and a plethora of tying material in this. It is perfect for the weekend jaunt when you might need a fly that you'd not tied at home!
