Bosch T102BF 3-Piece 2-5/8 In. 13 TPI Clean for Plexiglas Bi-Metal Jig Saw Blades

This cut quarter inch plexiglass well. I found that a smoother cut occurred at a higher reciprocation speed. Required very little sanding.

I've tried to cut plexiglass before and never had any luck. These blades do a fantastic job. Can't go wrong.

K used it on 1/4” acrylic and it cut very smooth

My first attempt at cutting plexiglass with a jigsaw. I wore out 2 blades (heat) but got the job done. Hindsight - material was too thick and cuts too long to use a jigsaw. Should've chosen a circular saw but this was less expensive and since I didn't require a very straight line cut, it worked out. The fact that it did cut more than 4 linear feet of 1/4 to 1/3 inch plexiglass is to the credit of the quality of these blades.

I used this to make a 36"-long cut in 3/8" plexiglas. My sense is that the cut was getting a bit rougher towards the end, but I may have been getting impatient. You really need to go slow. There were NO tearouts and NO chipping along the entire cut. -- The set and grind of the teeth is unique compared to other Bosch blades. You *are* getting something different for your toolchest if you buy these. I recommend.

So, bought this to cut a 1/4 inch thick sheet of acrylic. Cut through perfectly without any issues. I test-cut on the sheet with my jig saw first to get a feel for what I needed to do. Would highly recommend anyone cutting acrylic do that first even if you've cut acrylic before. Different blades work/cut differently. Found out the speed of the saw and my push speed to make it cut without chipping, melting, or having the cut close behind the saw. Worked perfectly for what I needed.

I have not tried these yet. Look ok.

cut thru 1/4 inch plexi glass like butter, made 4 , 21 inch cuts and then several trims and rounded edges on the board, made the project effortless
