Wemo Smart Home Starter Kit Smart Plug and Switch

Great price, you almost get the plug portion of this package for free. Install was slightly more challenging for my situation as the switch I replaced was in a dual switch plate location with some of the wires piggybacked from the switch that was next to the one I replaced. I did manage to get it fully working after determining which of the wires I was tying into were source power and which wires belonged to the piggybacked switch that remained in the dual switch plate location. Would certainly purchase again as these are the 9th and 10th WEMO devices I own of which the previous 8 have functioned flawlessly for years now.

I’ve used Wemo switches and plugs for several years. I really like that they integrate with Google Assistant and now Apple HomeKit.

I like wemo, have been using them for years. The 2nd gen looks nicer and works like it's suppose to.

I've used these devices for 6-8 years, so adding a couple more should be simple-- NOT SO! The newest incarnation is geared to HomeKit/iCloud integration. A bit of interweb searching yielded the detail that after a period of inactivity during setup, the devices revert to the "old" setup procedure and do not require HomeKit. After performing the old setup routine all work correctly.One star deducted for omission of non-HomeKit setup instructions with the device or included in the app.

Cheaper than the price of either alone, these two WeMo switches work well. My whole house is on Wemo and it performs like a champ using both the WeMo app and via Amazon Echo integration.

This switch controls my bathroom fan and works nicely i still own the first release wemo plug and they still working strong ,wemo hardware its been reliable on my end. Wemo app was glitchy but its getting better..i do recommend wemo plug and switch.

Easy setup

The switch and plugs work fine once set up with timers and rules. However, the Alexa integration is horrible. It disconnects every 1-4 days and you have to go into the Alexa app and remove the Wemo skill, re-add the Wemo skill (and log into your Wemo account), then search for devices, which all takes about 5 minutes of fiddling. I have a dozen of these things around the house that all lose Alexa connectivity simultaneously. I will never purchase another Wemo device ever again.

I've been using wemo for a few years. They're pretty easy to use and setup. Only thing I dislike is when they cannot be found on the wemo app and need to be reset occasionally

Después de más de 5 años con dispositivos Wemo, puedo recomendarlos ampliamente sobre muchos otros dispositivos de automatización del hogar, sus productos son de mucha calidad, con una buena conexión WiFi y un router 2.5 con clave WPA2 no he tenido ningún problema para su utilización, 100% compatible con Homekit y Alexa, y la ventaja principal es que se pueden controlar por WiFi local, por lo que las ordenes se ejecutan inmediatamente, para los usuarios avanzados es compatible con IFTTT, con más de 100 dispositivos en mi SmartHome, los switches Wemo son por mucho de mis dispositivos favoritos. Ojo que el switch para la pared no tiene capacidad de Dimming (atenuación de la luz), ni aparece como dispositivo BOTÓN en HomeKit, además, para su instalación necesita de cable neutral (e idealmente tierra) en la chalupa para que pueda funcionar, yo la instale en una caja externa y conecte a una barra Multicontactos y me funciona de maravilla. La verdad muy muy recomendable.
