I bought these for use in a pool/waterpark-type place that had a lazy river. These were probably a little big for that particular use, but I'm not complaining. The small kids that I surfed over in this beast of a tube might be, but their cries for help were smothered by the heavy duty nature of this product. I really appreciated the mesh bottom which meant that my toddler didn't fall through the tube, and the handles were useful in making sure that she didn't float too far away.I make it a policy to avoid reading directions where possible, and this is one circumstance that might have been better for me to have at least glanced at the book. The inflation/deflation valve actually has 2 parts that screw on/off... I was trying to fill the tube through the deflation valve. After figuring this out, things went much more smoothly.

In the summertime, we frequently float the rivers around our area in Northern Minnesota. We've gone through DOZENS of tubes throughout the past years & these are the best, hands down. I'm not a huge fan of swimming but still enjoy cooling off on hot summer days, so I'm pretty picky about the tubes that I use.POSITIVES:-The bottom netting helps me feel safe, but still allows me to cool off.-The backrest is comfortable & encourages a slightly more upright position for conversing, sightseeing, etc.-The tube is large, sturdy, & well made; I don't get nervous about tipping over while inside.-The connection system is wonderful. It allows me to quickly & securely attach on to the rest of the group.-These tubes are durable! We did hit some shallow spots while floating (so shallow that the tubes hit bottom) but the tube beasted through without popping.-Easy & quick to inflate/deflate.NEGATIVES:-The cup holders. Each tube has 2, but once you are actually in the tube your weight causes them to pull slightly inward. This means that any beverage placed in the holder is pretty uneven &, if too full, WILL spill. Works fine for cans/bottles that are not totally full, however.-It should also be noted that the tube's air "nozzle" is huge. Works just fine with a compressor but this could be a negative for those needing to blow them up by mouth, as it'd be nearly impossible.Overall, these tubes are well made & a great price. I will be purchasing more, just to have on hand!

These are "ok" - but if you're actually going tubing in a river I'd suggest going with another brandI purchased the two pack. We inflated them and took them tubing in Golden CO. The water was a bit low but still flowing well and there were loads of people on the river. Due to the mesh seat being at the bottom of the tube instead of the top or middle, you had to sit in an uncomfortable position to keep your butt from occasionally bumping on rocks. One of the tubes popped after 2 uses.

We weren't sure if these were going to be as sturdy as the rubber tubes that we've gotten at the river tubing place, but they were fantastic! Even better! The seat was another feature we weren't sure we were going to like or not. It's also great! It takes the strain of having to constantly re-adjust and drag your butt up as you slid down in the tube. The cup holders were fantastic too. The only part that could use some improvement is the way the ropes are connected together. You can snap them all together, but the connector easily came undone and we had to paddle over to get our party joined up again. Not a big deal, but that would be my only issue. LOTS of fun! GREAT Price! We will have so much fun using these again next summer. OH! do yourself a favor and get a battery operated inflator. It was so worth it to not have to use a bike pump. The electric or battery powered inflator makes it so much more enjoyable to just get them inflated and get on the water. The deflating part was a cinch too! Bring a large trash bag or one of those giant IKEA bags and throw them all in there deflated for the ride home. Have fun!

Floating around in the sunshine, having a cold beer with your best friends. River tubing is pretty much the most fun you can have when it’s too hot outside. If you are someone that sees themselves going river tubing more than once in the span of 5 years - buy this set! The tubes are great quality, a very thick skin and the added bonus of the cup holders really makes them worth the purchase.One issue, or shall I say problem I ran into was the process of inflating the tubes. I have an air compressor but the tubes have a very large opening suited more for the hand held blowers (the ones that look like a vacuum cleaner) or gas station air.Be sure to test inflating these at least a day before your river adventure - the inflation part can be *tricky*.

After inflating the first time i noticed the bottom ring that holds the mesh seat in place peeling off (like so many other reviewers stated). Went tubing once and the mesh seat didnt last an hour.

Good quality tubes. I like to buy locally but we couldn’t find a lot of inventory on these kinds of tubes. We tubed down a river of with rocks and wood pieces. Our tubes stayed inflated and didn’t get any holes like some friends with other brands did. We were able to easily put these together. Inflating and deflating were a cinch but I def recommend using plumber’s tape around the threads of the seal. We will use these multiple times.

The tubes are fantastic! My previous tube lasted for 4 years. The material resists punctures from rocks and the screening in the seat area is also durable and does not tear (another brand we bought was fabric and was completely ruined after 1 trip)The price dropped by over 20 right after I purchased and the seller refused to give a refund so I would purchase elsewhere next time.

Punctured after first use, only good for boring river runs or use in pools and lakes not recommended for fast, rocky or with trees to run into.

A great float

The tubes are massive. We use an electric pump to fill them. We haven't had any leakage issues. I recommend these for tubing down the river or your local snow hill
