I got my 7yr old niece this for Christmas and she loves it. She has been into making jewelry lately and this helps her easily make friendship bracelets etc… she likes that it holds the strings for her so she can easily and quickly make bracelets. Such a great gift.

Received this very quickly after ordering. My granddaughters were excited to use this to make friendship bracelets. However, it took them forever to make the first one and they have no desire to make a second one after making the first one. They are 11 and 10 yrs old and I read the instructions to them, then had to help get them started. It took at least 45 minutes for the 11 yr old to make a bracelet and an hour for the 10 yr old. They had never made one before, so it might have been just a learning experience, but they did not want to make another one. Instead they chose to just braid bracelets as it only took about 15 minutes. I was so disappointed that it turned out to be something they won't use. (And I purchased two of them so one wouldn't have to wait for the other to finish a bracelet to make her own.) I will sell these to someone else who wants to try them.

What I love most is the storage area within the board. It is nice to have everything in one place. Board has good weight to it doesn't move to much while braiding. Would recommend for a first timer to learn how to make bracelets.
