Worth the $
Only 1 dosage needed for my tank. Does exactly what it says it will do. I waited 72 hours to decide if I needed a second dose. All the algae is gone from everywhere- even in between the rocks. All the fish, crabs, shrimps and snails are doing well.

Took 2 doses, but cleared my tank up 100% without any die-off or irritation.
This actually took 3 doses, but I don’t count the first. The first time, I only used a half dose to be extra safe, but it did nothing. So the instructed dose is most definitely needed. The first full dose cleared maybe 80%, but there was still cyano left on the sand and partially on the rocks, so I ran the second dose 48 hours after the first as instructed, and it completely cleared up the remainder. Will it come back? Too soon to tell, but if it does, I’m not worried, seeing how effective this is. Not only did this not kill anything, but it didn’t even so much as irritate my corals or make any of them close up. Just make SURE to follow all instructions. They say to run an air stone both before and during use, so I ran an air stone about a full 24 hours before adding the formula to the tank, and kept it running the entire 96 hours during treatment. I even overdid it on the equipment just to be extra safe because I love all my fish and inverts and didn’t wanna lose anything, so I used a 100 gallon pump on the air stone when I only have a 32.5 gallon, just to be all the way on the safe side and make sure the tank was extra aerated. Overall tho, my tank is back to crystal clear, and it’s an extremely easy, cost efficient, and safe cyano resolution when used properly. Can’t go wrong here. 10/10

Follow the directions and it works great.
1. Put in an air stone fed by an air pump with a check valve (in case the pump fails the line can become a siphon and empty your tank out on the floor). Add Buffer to get pH to 8.3 (I use Seachem Marine Buffer)2. Wait a few days.3. Test your parameters (pH, kH, NO2, NO3, NH3, etc.)4. Empty your protein skimmer (if you have one)5. Follow directions; I mixed about 1.5 teaspoons in a plastic cup of seawater from my 29 gallon Nano tank. Be sure to turn off any Auto-Top Off (ATO) prior to doing this6. Pour mixture in7. Plug ATO back in8. Check your protein skimmer within 1 hour of application. It will probably overflow. It gets active for a bit. You may need to choke the incoming air (my Tunze has a screw-collar clamp I nearly closed). You will need to check your skimmer regularly.9. Check parameters10. Add Marine Buffer that night and Marine Builder the following day (to up pH to 8.3 and also to up kH)11. 48 hours later, if any remains, add another dose and repeat all the steps. I added another to be safe.12. 1 week and a day later my 29 gallon nano (4 fish, 15 invertebrates, live rock, zoas and other soft coral) is free of Cyanobacteria everywhere in the tank, back chamber, etc.. My Nitrates sit at 5ppm; pH is 8.3; KH is 14 dKH, my Ammonia and Nitrites are 0.

Works very well - Be Careful with your skimmer!
I used this in my 65-gallon Red Sea Max saltwater tank. In this tank I've got 4 clowns, a puffer, diamond goby, green goby, rabbitfish, and Charlie blenny. My corals are mushrooms, polyps, and leather. I've also got a rose bubble-tip. Lots of live rock and sand.I used this product after getting a lot of red slime on my rock. Use is very simple with the included measuring spoon, although it is a little difficult to get this dissolved in the water beforehand. After putting the mixture into the tank, it developed an interesting yellow color, but that disappeared before too long. The packaging does say that you can leave carbon, etc in and on. It does warn that protein skimmers can be over-activated, and this is certainly true. Almost instantly, ours started to over-produce, so I recommend you either turn your skimmer off or turn it way down.Very good results within 24 hours (we did reduce our photo-period as well. You may want to stir your sand bed if you have an issue inside of it. Very good results - I'll be using this again. Absolutely no adverse impacts on livestock.

Have Cyano taking over your tank? GET THIS STUFF
For the last two years, I've dealt with varying levels of Cyanobacteria infestations. Sometimes I would physically remove it all and it would be good for a week, other times I swear it would all come back the next day. I was hesitant to use this stuff because a friend had a bad experience with a different brand's red slime remover. Per the instructions, I setup extra aeration and followed the schedule/ratios.The first treatment (2 doses) made a significant impact within 4-5 days. I hit a third dose 7 days later and boom, bye bye cyano you *#(@er. I'm now 3 weeks out from treatment and haven't seen a single piece of cyano come back. What a relief! My only disappointment is that I did not do this sooner. All my corals and fish are very happy!

2 different dosing instructions, which is correct???
I'm only rating 3 stars because I'm still waiting to see if this product works. But the dosing instructions are completely conflicting. The box says 1 scoop per each 15 gallons of tank water. The bottle of product says 2 scoops per 15 gallons of tank water. I couldn't believe it when I saw this. I followed the 1 scoop per 15 gallons in hopes that wouldn't be too much. But 1 scoop vs 2 is twice the dose. Very bad labeling. Will update with results.
