I replaced my 4-inch dryer vent from the laundry to the outside (about 20-feet run total) and I used one of these 90-degree elbows in the run. I like the long radius of the elbow because it is less restrictive, and I like the heavy gauge construction of the metal over the cheap this aluminum elbows you find in most hardware stores. The only thing that I did not like is the fact that the elbow has two male ends rather than one male and one female, and I took one-star off for that.

When you did a *really* rigid elbow, this does the job!
I have retrofitted a bunch of dryer ducts into walls and floors. The typical "adjustable" elbows offer flexibility (varying angles), but if you apply any force at all to them, they break. :(This is a *solid* elbow, and absolutely will not break, no matter how much you wrangle it in tight spaces. Although a bit expensive, I always keep one or two in my truck to keep a project going when the "adjustable" elbows won't cut it.

Connect this to wall vent flange and dryer will vent properly without flex vent hose crimping !

Good universal fit, both ends are the same, so slightly too big for crimped end and too small for straight end of standard 4” round duct pipe, but totally functional with duct tape seal. Used it in a dust collection system
