Now Foods Super Enzymes 180 Capsules, 2 Pack

I have chronic neurological lyme and several auto immune diseases which left me constantly feeling nauseas, bloated, and digestive system feeling sluggish. Before taking these, even a few bites of food would have me feeling bloated and full for hours & I would get so tired after eating even a small meal I would have to lie down. I have tried MANY brands of digestive enzymes in the past, and none did anything at all for me until I found this one. Now I can eat 3 solid meals a day, but I actually look thinner than ever because I'm not bloated anymore. Like at all. I'm wearing crop tops with confidence now for the first time in year and my stomach is flat, and best of all I feel SO much better. NOW please don't ever change this formula, this is a lifesaver!!! I now have my sister (who also has similar health issues), my parents, and my brother all taking these and am recommending it to friends and it is helping them too. I've been very impressed with the quality of everything I've ordered from the NOW brand so far (been taking their P5P, b12, methylfolate, and a few other supplements for a couple years now). I've been using these for about 4 months so far, and also read in a book by a doctor that as these enzymes get into your blood stream from your gut over time they can even reduce inflammation & chronic pain & help with arthritis, so will be interesting to see if it ends up helping with that too. I've been in way less pain for the past 3-4 weeks, but my condition does flare up and down so hard to say for sure if it is from these enzymes, but I will try to remember to update this review once I've been on them for longer to let people know if I feel it really did help with inflammation and pain. Can't recommend these highly enough!!

The subject line kind of says it all. Omeprazole and other drugs like it work wonderfully to heal esophageal lesions due to acid reflux, and can reduce the damage micro-aspirations of acidic stomach contents, can do to lung tissues. Therein lies the issue. No acid, no proper digestion. Unless one being so treated takes this product which I believe to be the best all-around, proteins and fats are poorly broken down. And unlike some other multi-spectrum 'zyme products which can also be quite effective, it contains no animal products, such as ox bile, which should make vegans happy. (Otherwise, if one is among "we" who enjoy the ambrosia of fine meats, seafood, dairy and fowl, the other types of preparations can be a good choice as well) If one is inclined to partake of fatty meats and cheeses or fried foods, from time to time, an extra one of these taken along with them, can reduce "repeating", bloated stomachs and other unpleasant side effects of said epicurean indiscretions. I was having horrible epigastric pain after an acute pancreatic attack. After suffering for over 9 months with two hospital visits and no help from the medical industry I tried these capsules. They are helping me out a lot. They are reducing pain after eating. I'm still watching my fat intake but before these capsules anything I consumed with fat had me doubling over in moderate to severe pain. I truly believe these enzymes are breaking down the fats, proteins and carbohydrates as the product was intended to do. I have gotten a better hold of my life. I highly suggest trying this product.

This is an amazing product that will literally change your life. I use it for Reflux instead of antacids. My son has severe kidney stones and this product helps break the stones up so they can pass and prevents the pain from the stones in the kidney. My son has had all sorts of procedures for kidney stones, and had terrible pain every night for many years until he started this product. You have to take it exactly as directed which is sort of a pain to always take one before you eat anything. But it's worth it if you comply.

I have pernicious anemia. I am on nasal sprays of B-12 rather than shots since I cannot make B-12 myself (due to long term diabetes) or digest it, from pills. (Yes, you can GET B-12 in a nasal spray format, that is covered by insurance.) Don't let any Dr. tell you otherwise, if you are still getting stuck monthly, by a horse needle for YOUR B-12). However I began to have problems after about a year of the pernicious anemia with a great deal of periodic VERY PAINFUL gas & bloating & then sudden diarrhea. I tried changing my diet to eliminate seeds & all raw vegetables, as we traced the worst bouts to eating: salads, raw broccoli & poppy seed dressing. This helped some but did not completely cure the problem, & did not seem very healthy. I figured that if I could not make B-12 and was a juvenile diabetic (all of which affected digestion and are autoimmune issues) I might need digestive enzymes, at this point in my life (over age 50). I tried these Super Enzymes at the recommendation of a friend, since I could no longer find Gestazyme (a multi-enzyme & probiotic formula) that had been sold at Rexall before they were bought out. I had used it some years ago for another digestive upset issue. This current super enzyme product has worked pretty well for me, as long as I remember to take 1 pill with each meal. I take a separate probiotic, since this does not include one. Yes, I have mentioned all of this to my Doctor.

I use this product every night I have digestive issues and this keeps me feeling myself.
