Ultracast Braid

I’ve been using the spider wire ultracast for almost 2 years now, and I’ve been very pleased with many aspects of the fishing line. I currently have 30lb braid on my VS200 reel for surf casting, 20lb on my quantam accurist reel for light tackle bottom fishing, and 10lb on my Daiwa Fuego 2500 for freshwater. I’ve never had a problem with break offs with this braid, and it is my favorite when I’m tying braid to mono as it passes through guides very smoothly. The knots are secure and the coating allows an easy “mono like” manageability. This is fantastic when you’re fishing heavier cover, such as rocks, logs and medium to heavy weeds, and you really need to fight those fish out of the cover and land em. This is softer on fingers, so you don’t run the risk of constantly getting sliced on a cast or when you’re tying knots. When it comes to multi-use, it works fantastic if you want to troll, cast and jig. The only real complaint is that you may run into wind knots and birds nests still, but with the soft coating, it’s more forgiving than most other braids.

Some of the thinnest and strongest braid I’ve fished with in the last 4 years. Very little stretch so you feel the smallest fish bump. Easy smooth casting to maximize your distance.

BEST fishing line I’ve ever used very hard to break and it casts nice on Lews bait caster better than beyond braid by a long shot. Works good even on rocks mine doesn’t break super impressed.

Love this fishing line. Easy to tie and cast. Holds up very well throughout the day. Great for worm fishing. Hook sets are awesome....

It's Spiderwire, and there's a reason they are the name brand for braid. I've never had a problem, and I only respool my rods every 3 or 4 years, and I've never lost a fish due to the line breaking.
