Very cool fishies! Love these. Don’t use them for super hot big items over 350 degrees, you can feel the heat with the thin body. They work well for many different things.

These were a fun gift for my boyfriend. They’re cute, and very nice quality, very thick and nice fabric.They work great, no heat felt while using them at all.The design of them generally makes them a little hard to use but for the general use in my kitchen the work just fine! They fit my boyfriend and I fine, they a bit big for me but they work!

After over 2.5 years of daily oven use, these mitts are looking good and still as functional as the day I received them! For instance, I bake a home-made pizza, once a week, in a preheated 525F oven. I've never experienced any heat issues with my hands inserting or removing the pizza! How great is that!As a scuba diver in the tropics, I love these fish mitts! They are even better than my first pair of tropical fish mitts I purchase eons ago which finally burned themselves when removing a pizza from the oven. AND I still have no reason to wash my 2.5 year old fishy mitts, although after this amount of time with my previous fishy mitts, I definitely had washed them...probably at least 3 times.NOTE: I don't grill outdoors, but if I did, I would save these mitts for indoor use. I wouldn't want either of these great fishies to get grill marks on themselves. How sad would that be?

I love these mitts, but they're not practical. Their shape makes it difficult to grip small or thin objects (e.g., pot handles, plates, baking sheets), and they aren't thick enough to protect against 400+-degree temps.

super thick! Nice and long so your arms dont burn. they do smell a bit like they came off a container ship ..and were made in India.. so that may explain the smell.. Its not bad..just noticeable.. Im sure after a few days in the kitchen, they will take on a new smell. The colors are very dim and muted. I was hoping for a bright looking fish they sort of look old. I gave them as a fun gift so no love lost if they dont use them. To bad.. because they would be really cute if the colors were brighter and they didnt smell like ..??

My roommates and I think they are really funny. I love them :) they are a bit thin tho so you can only hold a pan for like 7 seconds before it starts to get hot. Another comment said to put those rubber mitts inside which I haven’t tried yet but sounds like a great idea. They are machine washable (I’ve done it like 3 times) and would recommended hanging to dry so they don’t become a weird shape.
