Gulluoglu Sesame Bagel (Simit), 8 pieces, daily fresh shipment from Istanbul/Turkey

These bagels (Simit) are DELICIOUS! I have ordered them several times and they are always tasty and fresh! It’s awesome to have a taste of Istanbul come direct to my door within a few days. I want to visit them the next time I go to Istanbul to see my family! For those reviews that say they are hard and dry, they are either overcooking them (they already come 90% cooked) or are putting them on a temp higher than 350 degrees or are waiting too long to eat them. If you are not going to eat them soon, you need to freeze them so they will maintain their freshness. But the trick is to NOT overcook them. Thank you, Gulluoglu Team for offering these delicious simit to us here in Indiana!

These are not hard, or crispy. The texture is wonderful, like a good, sesame coated bread. One simit is very substantial, and has a great flavor. I especially love them with my morning coffee with a bit of butter. They can of course be eaten any time of day, and instead of the usual bread or rolls, they are great with dinner. I like them when I have pasta. I have ordered them three times already, and plan on getting more. I also would like to try some of the other items this brand has to offer. The ordering process was easy and quick, and the price is great. I am so happy I discovered these! I follow someone on TikTok that is Turkish, and when I saw her eating Simit, I knew I had to buy some, so I searched on Amazon. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

These are a bsokutely delicious. They are like a big pretzel and delicious bread d ought combined. I am hooked. They also come with a pack of some Turkish candy/gummy-like treat. They are as fresh as can be. They are bug. I had one with butter, cheese and Hon ey all separately. Absolutely a treat. They are totally different from standard NY bagels. I love both. YUMMY!!!

I've been to turkey several times and returned home just recently weeks ago from Instanbul. althoughthe product arrived very fresh, the texture and unique taste of simit I've eaten dozens of times in turkey is quite different from this product.

The sesame’s was burned on the simit I have been to Turkey and I know how the original tastes this was not even close to the original one it was so expensive and it wasn’t worth it I am sooo disappointed

This isn’t the simit I remember from Istanbul’s streets. The packaging is great, but it’s lost some of its freshness. When I pop it in the oven, it turns out okay, but it’s definitely more like a bakery-style simit than the classic street simit. The texture is softer, more like bread than the crisp and chewy street simit I love. It’s not bad, just not the same experience.

I've been ordering from this store for 2 years now and everything is always delicious. I've tried simit from a few other places and it's not even close. These are perfectly crisp outside, fluffy and moist inside. I order a bunch and freeze them and even after thawing and being put in the toaster oven for a few minutes, they are still perfect.

OmG! Arrived FRESSSSSHHHHH! Spent 5 yrs stationed in Turkey, THIS HERE...THIS brought me back and I will be ordering again! This is what I been looking for! Thank YOu!! And yes, I highly recommend! Delivery surpassed expectations and was on our doorstep early! Great first impression!
