Excellent all round rub
This and THE HOT RUB are my family's favorite rubs. Works best on chicken & pork but also good on beef, turkey, and game meat. Takes all smoke really well, fruitwoods especially. Nice bark when cooking low/slow and color is excellent. I like that it's not too salty, so I can control saltiness with my base layer of salt/pepper/garlic. Then I add a layer of hot rub for a little spice if needed. Ribs are amazing with this rub.

So Many Uses!
We love Killer Hogs Barbecue Rub! We use it on everything from beef and chicken to pork and turkey. It is especially good mixed into a meatloaf made with ground turkey. Gives it that little extra kick that seems to be missing when you substitute ground turkey for beef. We have ordered the other spices from Killer Hogs and have been very pleased with them as well. This is a perfect blend of barbecue with just a touch of heat to add depth of flavor. I am not a big spice fan at all and this was blend is perfect for my delicate taste buds! WE have even mixed it with Killer Hogs AP Rub and Killer Hogs Brisket Rub. Sloppy Joes are another family favorite that we have used this rub for. Truly a very versatile rub for so much more than just barbecue!

Great pulled pork Rub!
Ive used this rub on spare ribs and pulled pork. The first time I put to much on the ribs and it made the bark on the ribs kinda mushy or powdery. The second time I used less and the texture was much better. I think I like it better on the pulled pork. I rubbed the butt with it and after the cook I pulled the pork in a pan and while still hot I tossed more of this rub in and a little left over juice from the butt and it was delicious. Every one loved it!

Flavor!!
So much flavor and not super salty. We use this on ribs and country style pork ribs every time and my family loves it
