Optronics TLL16RK Red LED Combination Tail Light Kit

I bought this kit to replace the old incandescent light system on my boat trailer.It took me about 20 minutes to replace it. It works great. The light is way more visible with LED than with the old system. It is also waterproof so no need to be worrying about that issue.I did need to buy a tail light converter compatible with LED tail lights because my car has independent turn and stop lights. Very easy to install also.Very happy with the product so far. Can't wait to go fishing again...

These LED lights are easy to install , very bright and seem sturdy enough . I gave it 4 stars because the bolts to attach the lights to the trailer are very small and unfortunately had to be replaced with larger ones at an additional expense to me .

I have replaced bulbs, traced bad connections, and risked traffic tickets for the last time due to the affects of the salt water on my boat trailer lighting system. These new replacement LED lights are surprisingly better in every way. They are super bright and totally visible even in direct sun light. I was greatly impressed with how much more defined even the turn signals illuminate compared to the old incandescent bulbs.One marketing "negative" is that LED side marker lights are not included in this particular kit and must be individually purchased. But when you add in the side markers, and the light bar in the rear, (if your trailer accommodates such) the package is second to none. Its no wonder that most new trailers are now fitted with LEDs as standard.Retro fitting my boat trailer with these Photo Optics LEDs seemed a tad expensive at the time, but I now see that it was well worth the cost and effort.

The item description states that kit comes with "a Black License Plate Bracket, Stainless steel mounting hardware"... But it's actually plastic! Very disappointed.

I have a 2016 model year trailer that had really bad taillights that completely corroded out from saltwater. I purchased these Optronics LEDs and they were very easy to install and are bright. The only inconvenience is that I was not crazy with the connectors that came with kit. I went to Lowes and bought the butt connectors with built in heat shrink for a more water-tight seal. Still, great lights at a good price.

Very bright lights. The issue is the bolts to mount them comes through a slot in the plastic which can strip and the bolt then rotates. If the housing were metal or the bolt attachment was metal, it's be great.

Very pleased with these LED lights. I bought them to replace the standard lights on my boat trailer. The installation was relatively easy and the lights look and work great. I purchased some waterproof connectors for use instead of the connectors which came with them.

I bought this set of LED lights to replace my camper tail lights. These are really made for boat trailers, open car trailers, etc, not campers. The mounting design is for bolt heads to clip into retainers on the back side of the housing, then you need access on the end of the bolts for the nuts. I managed to modify the mounting so I could replace the lights on my camper by using the old screws and carefully positioning new holes in the back of the housing to screw into the camper. Also the plate bracket provided will not work on a camper.The waterproof part of this tail light is the internal LED assembly. It is a completely sealed and separate part that screws into the back of the housing. The lense that screws into the black housing is not really waterproof as there is no gasket between the lense and the housing, not that there needs to be since its the LED assembly that is waterproof.The LED lights are very bright and that is the purpose of why I bought them: to increase the visibility of the tail lights, and for that that they deliver.
