HDR 175 Accessory RF Wireless Headphone for RS 175 System

I bought two of these for replacing my old Sennheiser Rs 135 because of an issue. So far, the Sennheiser HDR 175 have been amazing it has a surround sound, bass boost and volume control on one side. the surround sound, bass boost both are active if you have more than one headphone the volume is the only thing that is separate so one user can have it loud while the other has it lower and still have both surround sound, bass boost active. the battery life is great were able to have it run for 5 or more hours and it's still going strong. the range is good the only downside is if you go to use the microwave it will be cutting in and out and also just recently learned that using a google tv stick when on in another room will cause it to cut in and out. the headphone cushions are great they comfortable and we did buy replacement headphones just in case the faux leather starts chipping/cracking. So far, we are glad about our purchase of the Sennheiser HDR 175 we hope that they will last longer than the rs 135s.

I tried several brands of wireless headsets and these are the best by far. The transmitter supports two headsets so my wife and I can both listen at the same time. The radio transmission has better sound and range than Bluetooth sets I tried. I have had Sennheiser products before and have an analog set of model RS-120s that are about 10 years old. These work quite well from the optical output of my TV and the sound is clean and works well with soundtracks that have low volume, poorly mixed dialog. The ear cups are large enough to fully enclose your ears and comfortable enough for hours of constant listening. I would buy these again without hesitation.

I purchased 2 as replacements for a Sony RF system. The Sennheiser has superior sound quality and has much better range. One thing to know if you use two together, either headphone controls sound settings for both (surround, bass boost and volume). Not a problem for us but good to know.

Great sound quality. We use this to quietly watch TV, so our neighbors aren't disturbed. We have the Sennheiser 175 charger that came with a headphone. We put one or the other on the charger at night, so both are ready to go, and we can watch quietly together.

We had an older model that worked (and still does) great for many years. Bought these to upgrade sound and ear comfort. Love the enhanced sound from TV / movies. Volume control on old one was better (dial vs + / - on new one) Easy to set up and no problems connecting. Love the rechargeable battery system! Caution: as stated by others, the on / off button needs to be held for a few seconds to work.

Once you have for TV use you won't go back to watching TV any other way. We bought two and share one charger.

Positives: - good sound quality, clear dialogs - comfortable (cushions are inexpensive and replaceable) - rechargeable and replaceable battery - good range, enough to cover an average house - can pair with another set of headphones for couples Negatives: - prone to interference from 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (sound breaks up) - surround sound is emulated, not true - non-standard power supply (not 5V as most devices now) Consider carefully all the cons and pros before buying. For me the biggest issue is interference since everyone has Wi-Fi these days. Lack of true surround sound is also a drawback for watching movies.

At this price point these are excellent headphones. I bought these for my wife to supplement the RS 175 that I purchased from another vendor. We use them mainly to listen to TV. These are not noise cancelling units but in my home environment I don't need noise cancelling. What I dislike most about this unit are the controls. There are two buttons for increasing and lowering the volume and two other buttons for bass and surround sound. They are so close to each other that when you try to make adjustments without removing the phones from your head you invariably hit the wrong button. However, despite this one complaint, I would definitely recommend these headphones.

Bonjour :) Avant d'acheter ce produit, j'ai lu tous vos commentaires concernant le SENNHEISER HDR 175 ce qui m'a incité à l'acheter en complément du RS 175 et je vous en remercie. Je ne suis pas tout déçu car, étant cinéphile, il répond vraiment à mes attentes ! J'ai attendu assez longtemps avant de donner mon avis concernant ce Sennheiser HDR 175 en complément du RS 175 que j'ai pu tester au quotidien et que j'utilise tous les jours. Il est bien pour écouter de la musique toutefois, pour un puriste, il est préférable de prendre une gamme au dessus de la marque. Avant toute utilisation, je vous conseille de recharger le casque sur le socle du RS 175 environ pendant 16heures la première fois. Une fois en charge un témoin passera du rouge au vert pour vous indiquer qu'il est chargé. Le casque HDR 175 est facilement reconnu par la base du RS 175 en le posant dessus tout simplement. Les deux casques ensembles fonctionnent parfaitement. Le seul reproche que je pourrais faire à ces deux casques est que l'on ne peut pas régler indépendamment les différentes fonctions du son à part celui du volume. En conclusion: . Un casque de très bonne qualité avec un beau design s'adaptant à toute les déco d'intérieur ! . Une fois chargé, l'installation se fait vraiment en 5 minutes et cela même sans être un pro ! . Un son de bonne qualité. . Je n'ai pas de coupure de son en passant d'une pièce à une autre malgré les murs ! . Je peux même écouter de la musique dans mon jardin en toute tranquillité. . Une marque de référence que je ne manquerais pas de recommander ! . Un très bon rapport qualité prix ! Petit point négatif: impossibilité de régler indépendamment les autres options de son des deux casques quand ils sont en fonction en même temps à part celui du volume ! Ecoutez le son et laissez-vous vous transporter !

I bought this additional headset to be able to watch shows with my wife while our daughter sleeps. It's identical to the one that comes with the dock. Surprisingly easy to use. No set up required for the additional headset, just put it on the dock to charge and then turn it on. Didn't have any issues using both headsets at the same time, which was my chief concern. Can definitely recommend. 5/5

I bought these to replace 130 model Sennheiser and the difference was immediately obvious, with rich bass and crystal clear treble I can't see how anyone can be disappointed with these headphones. When watching action movies they come into their own and they enhance the enjoyment to the point that I am looking for more movies to watch, something I have rarely done before. A little tight at first but they are brand new so I expect they will become more comfortable in time, they rest on the skull not the ears so they are fine and I watched a recent film with a duration of nearly 3 hours without needing to move them. Well worth the money I paid for them and looking forward to years of enjoyment.

These headphones are digital so no tuning of an 'rf' signal required. This means you never get hissing or static in use. That's nice. Easy volume buttons and bass boost. The sound enhancements modes work very well. Very comfortable to wear even with glasses. Excellent headphones. Drawbacks...battery life a little short compared to the Sennheiser 120 model. There is an annoying beeping when the battery is low...I would prefer if they just faded out or something. Both of these issues are solved if you buy a second pair which charges while you use the first. Just change them out before the beeping. They don't work as far from the receiver as the 120's, but that seems to be a trade-off for the crisp sound. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Thanks for making this excellent product!

Es el segundo que compramos (el primero que va sin emisor) ya que el otro modelo ya incluye el emisor y éste permite tener 2 auriculares. Este modelo es realmente cómodo, tiene un excelente sonido incluyendo graves. Permite tener volumen personalizado. De esta manera mi mujer y yo vemos la misma película con diferente volumen y no molestamos a ningún vecino y sobretodo, no despertamos a nuestros niños cuando queremos ver una película. También decir, que si vas a jugar a algún videojuego y no necesitas el micrófono, este sistema de auriculares es ideal, ya que sale del audio óptico directamente de la televisión con lo que permite ser usado con cualquier consola. Totalmente recomendados! :-)
