It's okay as long as you do it right!
I used this a day after it arrived along with a pair of gloves I had and some neutralizing shampoo with color alert to wash it out. This did make my hair straight felt good but couldn't leave in too much since it has lye which can burn one's hair if over left. Luckily I timed it and rinsed my hair completely before shampooing with the color alert neutralizing shampoo. Good product overall!!
