I have always loved this fly spray. Smells great too. My mare seems to be a little skin sensitive sometimes with long use on the regular fly sprays so this was a nice changed and seemed to work well. Recently however, with summer and living where I live the flies have been terrible. I'm close to the end of my bottle (just bought another one) but I've noticed when we go out to ride/work she is constantly shaking her head or trying to bite at flies. Not sure if it was this specific bottle or I need to switch to stronger stuff next purchase because of our fly/bug increase with summer.

I wouldn't use this if the flies are heavy. It won't cut it. But if they are light, it works OK. It doesn't last long. It sprays in a straight line, or mine does... So it applies weird and innaficiantly. It smells OK. My horse doesn't mind it. Will need something stronger for spring ad summer though.

Nothing else I tried worked for biting flies that were tearing up my dogs. This worked like a charm!
