Does it make a lot of sound ?

No however be wary it is not designed for extended use. If you're using it under or on top of your desk at work for a few hours a day it's perfect. I tried using mine overnight to help modulate my home temperature in a few rooms and it was burnt out within 60 days.

Is it safe for bathroom?

Excellent question. Unfortunately, model CT16450 has not been designed for bathroom usage. If you are interested in a unit designed for bathroom usage please check out wither models CD08200 or CD08210.
