Useful for guides and hold downs, on ALL steel equipment.
I've been waiting a long time to get these. And I'm glad I did. I'm a disabled veteran and I have one very Strong arm and one that is messed up. I can use it but it's weak, dislocated bones broken elbow and severed nerve in my shoulder. I still keep going. Woodworking is a hobby for me. Not a job. I need this as a second hand. YOU can get it just to make your life easier. MAGSWITCHES are just that. With one set, on the table saw between wood and fence, goes in straight, doesn't pivot. If the fence is steel, can hold down for Dado, molding blades, etc. On a planer jointer, it's ALL steel, make a jig between the side and top and all you do is push the board through. MAGSWITCH makes a lot of attachments, but YOU have a shop, they give you a Forstner bit, make something or a different one for each type of work. What about that band saw, I drempt about making my own veneer last night, ok just kidding. The ideas are out there and you are the Maker of Fine Things.

Great value, very good for homemade jigs.
I used the mag switches to make a resaw fence for my bandsaw. This works well and is a great addition to my shop. I am well pleased with this product and happy with the price.

Concerned with holding power
Good concept, but my personal opinion of the 150 is that they didn't seem to have the holding power that I have come to know from my other magswitch products that I own. Don't get my wrong, its still a great company.

So many uses!
These are great, they really hold. if you are doubting if they'll hold for your application, let me tell you, they probably will. i used these two in MDF to attach the Jess'um STock guides to my table saw fence. Easy to pop off and pop on by turning these two magswitches and then can store it away against the wall of my bandaw. My collection of magswitches has grown over the years.

These are STRONG....I have a cast iron router extension on my sawstop.built a fixture for my incra jig and use these to hold the fixture in the miter track.so my incra router fence is solid as a rock with these.

Much better deal as a set than individually.
I purchased this to make a removable jig for my Jess-Em table saw stock guides. I didn't want to drill holes into my SawStop's fence and a quick YouTube search proved I was not alone. They work great and hold the jig onto my table saw fence even when ripping 4x8 sheets of plywood. The forstner bit is perfectly sized so there was very little slop in the holes it made.

Great value
I use these to hold jigs on my rip fence for my table saw. They do a great job. The package of two 150# Magswitchs and a forstner bit was a great value.

Very easy to use!
When drilling holes for these Magswitches I prefer to use a 1-3/8" Forstner bit rather than the 40mm bit. Just drill 2 @ 1-3/8" holes with the centers offset by 3/8." This method keeps the Magswitch from spinning when trying to lock it with one hand. Also, these magnets are designed to work with 3/4"-thick material. Most of the woodworking jigs I have made are from 3/4" plywood. Guess what!!???? 3/4"-thick plywood is no longer a true 3/4" thick! Most of the 3/4" plywood available today measures 23/32. To compensate for this I glue a scrap piece of plastic laminate where I am going to drill the two 1-3/8" offset holes.
