Wilde Tool G407.NP Straight Tip Lock Ring Pliers, 9 inch with Satin Finish (Satin)

I was rebuilding an NP242J transfer case and really struggling with a circlip inside the differential planet. I literally spent over an hour with my other circlip pliers. I finally gave up and ordered these. They arrived the next day. I picked them up, opened the package and immediately decided to try them out. The clip went right on! I mean on the very first try in about 20 seconds! Ok, it’s a fun story but, this is a high quality tool and it’s made in USA. You won’t be disappointed. I own 2 different pliers from this company now. Both excellent tools. This pair is for very tight places and the other pair is best for open access. Be sure you buy the pair with the correct tips for your application.

These have the small tip that I needed. The other transmission circlip pliers I saw all had much wider tips that would not reach into the area I had. The rest of the quality seems good.

Solid well made set of pliers, in a design you can't find at any retail box store. All for $20. Product works great and is feels of higher quality than the price tag would suggest. Would absolutely buy Wilde tools again.

Handy as a third hand…well close anyway. Seems to be a nice quality tool I am using it to remove seals inside tight spaces and to rotate shafts with keyways. Sometimes when I use a pick on really tight seals, I end up scratching the inner surface of the pump. I wish I had bought one 15 years ago.

Totally in love with this pliers. I compared it to Snap-on pliers and couldn’t find anything difference except the handle’s texture. So satisfy with this pliers. I will update my review after couple of months.
