realistic
Very realistic! I like that they have a flashing red light. I put these around my house and garage. They look like they are recording. I can recommend these - and they are very easy to install.

Good for the price
Thin plastic but look realistic. Should outlast the weather for a few years especially if mounted under an eve out of direct sun & rain. For the price, not bad at all. I’ll not use batteries; red light would be very noticeable at night but I’m not concerned about the red light working.Only problem I have is that I ordered box of 4 cameras but they only put enough screws in for two cameras. But I’ll use exterior wood screws instead their interior screws which look like they’d rust. Also, to open the battery section, unscrew the front section, then tap gently to pop out the clear plastic part with the fake led lights. That’s the only part to take off. Don't pry out the threaded section. That clear part is in place with a plastic gasket so it sticks a little bit - to keep water out.

Good bargain. Looks convincing when installed.
These are surprisingly good for the price. The round thing that you mount onto the wall and the main post are all metal. The camera itself is plastic, but it looks fairly convincing, particularly if you mount it high up where it is impossible to get a really close look at it. The stability of the bracket is pretty decent once it is in place.Do I think they will last forever? No. I imagine the weather will not be kind to them. If you can, I'd put them in a protected area, out of the way of both the sun and the rain. I did not even try to put the batteries in them. Real security cameras don't have flashing red lights these days, so you are probably better off leaving the batteries out. Besides, if you mount it up high with a ladder, are you really going to get up and change the batteries every few months anyway? Most of home security is just about making your house a slightly less attractive target than the house down the block. Maybe the cameras are real, maybe they are fake, but why risk it? Just go on to the next one.A real camera system is an utter pain to put in. You have to fish wires through your walls, and most likely you will not get a clear picture of the bad guy anyway. These provide probably 90% of the deterrence value of a real camera system at a fraction of the price. More importantly, you can install each camera in about 5 minutes if you have a drill.Installation tip: Get some electrical tape and tape the little wire where it goes into the hole in the mounting pipe. It helps stabilize the camera to keep it from moving and insures the wire won't ever pop out and reveal the camera as a fake.

LOOKS SO REAL!
Nobody can tell these are fake. Easy to install with no wiring. Red blinking light is bright enough to see from street. Way cheaper than having a real system installed.

Good if viewed from a distance
The price should alert you to the fact that these are cheap fake camera. They do have a small blinking light that gives the impression of realism but overall they are make a cheap plastic and upon close inspection look very fake. I mounted mine about 8 feet above my garage and front door and at that distance they look pretty good.

Looks Real
Cameras look like the real thing. Blinking red light makes it appear the cameras are “live” and recording. Only issue: When removing the inner battery compartment to install the two batteries, be very careful not to let the rubber ring that fits around the fake light rim come off - it is next to impossible to reinstall properly (learned this the hard way).
