Delicious
These sardines are my very favorite sardines. I'm enjoying them very much, and I like the small size of the fish. I hope Amazon keeps stocking this particular brand and at this price because I will defiantly be purchasing some more of them.

Great taste
With a little bit of hot sauce it makes a great salad.

Great Cheap Snack
Ok, for a buck a can, these aren't bad at all. They aren't any more fishy than a can of tuna. I like to add a jalapeno slice and a splash of lemon with this on a cracker, and it makes the perfect healthy snack. They lose a star because they are packed in there with no care, and they are soft so they tear apart easily. At a fourth the price of the King Oscars that are my benchmark, it's worth keeping a few of these in the cupboard for a quick, cheap snack. I bought three different flavors - in olive oil, in hot sauce, and in lemon sauce. My favorites are the ones in hot sauce - these can be eaten straight - they're not TOO hot. The ones in lemon sauce need a bit more lemon flavor to be awesome. The ones in olive oil are just ok, but like I said, for a buck a can, they're pretty great!

The quality is there
I have ordered from this brand, I think, seven times now. I have always received high quality cans, only two single cans of which were ever dented, and the expiration dates have been consistently greatI have tried the lemon variety, and the mustard variety too, so I'll add some comments on them ---For the Lemon kind - It really wasn't that lemony at all, to a disappointing degree. They were good, yeah, but were kind of the same as the 'in oil' kind with just a HINT of lemon. I wasn't impressed, personally. But the quality of the sardines themselves was still there. 3/5 starsFor the mustard kind - These were really good. The mustard wasn't too strong or overpowering. But the sardines were ever-so-slightly dry (which is usually the case with any kind not packaged in oil, I guess?) They were still really good anyway though. 4/5 starsI've tried probably four different brands, and I think this brand is my favorite so far. Also, I like that they source the sardines from a more reputable areaI will say, this last batch I ordered seems to be a little saltier than the previous batches I got. That's not REALLY a complaint, though. But it is something I noticed. Again, I don't consider that a bad thingAside from being a very easy, very convenient meal, (I pair a can with some crackers or bread to soak up the oil) and I didn't actually know/realize this before, but sardines are a really good source of collagen. So, along with the protein and omega-3s and all that, the collagen is something I consider a nice bonusI really don't think you'll be disappointed with this brand. And the price you pay for the amount you get seems like a really good deal to meEdit - I have now also tried the Lightly Smoked kind. Like some other reviewers mentioned, I really couldn't taste any smokey-ness. They just tasted like sardines in neutral oil. So, 5/5 for the sardines, but, I guess, 0/5 for the smokey aspect since it just wasn't there (at least not in the batch I got(?)) The quality is always great with this brand, though, so that's something

Bland, soft, torn, fishy
I saw smoked and ordered this and was quite disappointed.I could taste no hint of smoke flavor at all. They were quite bland with a fishy metallic washed out flavor. Almost like sardines packed in water even though these were packed in oil.The fish were quite soft, almost falling apart with the skin separating. So a general disappointment. Not bad, just very blah.
