I DO NOT HEAR TRACY CHAPMAN ANYWHERE NEAR ENOUGH ON THE RADIO SO AM VERY HAPPY AT LAST TO OWN TWO OF HER CDS. SHE IS AMAZING! I BOUGHT THE ONE LOVE BOB MARLEY TRIBUTE DVD JUST TO SEE HER SINGING THREE LITTLE BIRDS. I WISH THERE WAS A TRACY CHAPMAN CONCERT ON DVD!

I have always loved Tracy's voice, but I love the fact that she doesn't see herself as a superstar or celebrity. She sings with passion and from the heart, and fans are never distracted by flashy outfits and glitzy jewelry. Tracy is unpretentious in her dress and appearance, and she doesn't need any accompaniment--her music peaks for itself!

I would actually give Tracy extra starts. have loved listening to Tracy for years, but after seeing her in concert a couple of years ago, I am can't believe I was even more amazed by her. The emotional and thoughtful lyrics are unique. I look forward to a chance to see her perform again. For now, I will enjoy this album.
