This is currently out of stock ...don't buy another one, WAIT for this one to come back in, trust me. Best filter I've ever used, coffee tastes amazing. Others here have written negative reviews saying it clogs. Um, if you read the directions, they clearly state to wash the thing out and sponge lightly with dish soap. Do not let the grounds sit in there an dry ...otherwise it WILL clog. Says so right there in the directions. I keep a plastic spoon in the drawer and when the brew is done I used that (not a metal one) to scrape it into the garbage ...do not put grounds down your sink, even the disposal, they will accumulate with grease and cause a clog (just heard of it happening ...). Don't just dump the water in ...follow what the manual says, pour slowly ...let the water absorb the coffee flavors, you should not have more than like an inch of water in there. As a precaution, I bought this (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001418KNS/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_QV5QP87Y1J3MX984P4ZT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) ...Its a special cleaner for coffee and espresso machines and you can use that if it clogs. I've never had it clog, but I clean it right away each time. I purchased this reusable pour over coffee filter with the intention to reduce the amount of waste I generate from disposable coffee filters. I’ve owned this reusable coffee filter for about two years now. I have used it at least 3-4 times a week since I bought it.From day 1, it has always let through coffee grains, not a whole lot, but enough to be annoying. So I ended up having to buy disposable coffee filters to put on top anyway. After putting in another coffee filter layer, it did just fine, no grains in my coffee.After using it with another coffee filter for about a year, I actually was quite happy with it. Pour over technique is fun and my coffee tasted great. Unfortunately, after a little over a year, the rate in which the liquid would drain from the filter slowed down over time, to the point where hardly any liquid passes through it. I clean it after every use so I have no idea why this is the case. It’s basically trash at this point.All I can say is in hindsight, 20$ for a coffee filter that lasted about 2 years aint all bad. It was also easy to clean and take around camping. But it didn’t prevent me from buying more disposable coffee filters, which was the whole reason I got it in the first place.If you are looking for a reusable pour over coffee filter, I’d probably look to spend more than 20$.

Nicely made. Good quality. Does the job but a little messy to clean. A great talking point with snobby friends, who think that everyone drinks instant.I chose this model first, but have set my mind at looking at some of the others, on offer at Amazon.Will the coffee taste better? This is a great product. It's large enough to make a pot of coffee, but you will have to pour small amounts of water for a few minutes. A paper filter is not needed, and no black sludge settles to the bottom as does French press coffee. Very satisfied!

What a great product from a great company. This Pour Over Coffee Maker is a pleasure to use in the morning. The extremely fine micro-perforated screen is very well engineered and well built from quality materials. When used and cared for as directed, even a novice like I can effortlessly to brew a phenomenal tasting cup of coffee.I know nothing of chemistry but can vouch for the flavor difference using this method, over that of a cup produced by my electric coffee maker (soon to be donated to a thrift shop). When used with water at about 195-205 F, a preheated mug and a medium-fine-ish grind (my preference), the JavaPresse pour over produces a complex full-bodied flavor. You are left with zero grinds in your cup and less sediment than what is produced by my traditional electric brewer.No paper filters means less waste and results in a far better mug of coffee that easily rivals anything I have bought over a counter, served in a paper 'mermaid' cup. Grinding and brewing your own coffee is also far more convenient, economical, and environmentally sound than braving the morning zombies also hunting down a cup. You are also able avoid supporting a coffee company whose values may differ from yours.Clean up is fast and easy with soap, a soft brush and water. It arrived promptly, undamaged and was well packaged. Great new company with genuine commitment to their products and customers. I used to use a plastic Malita which required paper filters. I decided that I need a good filter that didn’t have a solid bottom, but have a filter mesh. Pour over coffee works best with filter on all sides and bottom. My search finally ended with this one. It works perfect and is very easy to clean, dishwasher safe. It’s real stainless steel and so last a long time.

I love this product so far. I’ve used it twice since I received it and it is so much better than my previous over mug brewing system which was a two piece setup. This fits nice over all of my mugs and doesn’t leak like my last one which was glass with a metal filter inside.

I have a .5L electric kettle that I bring with me when I travel. This coffee drip works great for making coffee. It can also be for everyday use if you don’t have a coffee maker
