You don’t need the wiring pig tail not less it is broken or you need to replace the blower motor

Fit my 2011 Silverado Ext Cab 5.3. I have the hvac where you can select a specific temperature and set it to auto. Very easy installation, make sure connections are tight.

Easy to install. Blower motor stopped working. Replaced resistor and works perfectly now.

Failed after 6 weeks
I bought and installed this on a 2009 Silverado after the OEM stopped working consistently. Install was pretty easy after dropping the glove box, but now after 6 weeks of use the system has started not working consistently again. Adjusting the fan speed gets no response, so I have to turn the truck off and on several times to try and get it to work. Spend the extra money and buy an OEM.
