These stainless steel sink strainers may be the best thing I’ve bought on Amazon. They’re simple, attractive, inexpensive, and work very well. The fine perforations catch bits of food and crumbs while draining effectively, and the thin stainless steel lip makes it easy to rinse food bits into the strainer.We’ve had these for two years, one in the kitchen and one in the laundry, and they’ve held up with no signs of wear.

I know it's a sink strainer...attractive? The strainer portion is not your typical "screening", which eventually gets gray and grungy. This is solid plate with very precisely punched holes in the bottom and up the sides. Fits perfectly in the kitchen sink. It cleans up easily so it always shiny and look good, the number and placement of the holes means the sink continues to drain even as it catches all the debris. I had a different version with larger holes in the bottom only and as soon as they got covered... the sink stopped draining.

I have bought these for several of my homes over the years. They are wonderful as they allow water to drain well and they catch anything you don't want to have go down the drain. The handle is very useful to pick the basket out of the drain and toss the garbage in the trash.Highly recommend.

These are just what I needed to keep small bits of food stuff out of the drain pipes in my RV. The normal drain stoppers that came with the sink let too much stuff go in and clog up the drain because the holes are just too large, even though they're just normal drain stoppers.These fit perfectly, dropped right in place and are so sleek looking. I love the bonus of the added handle.I'm very impressed. What a great design, great price, and a wonderful product.I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This strainer works very well and catches everything no matter how small. The handle makes it easy to lift from sink. You do have to empty and clean it periodically during the day depending on how much you have washed off your dishes. However, this is not a big deal. It keeps all these particles from building up in your pipes.

I have found these strainers to be very useful in kitchen sinks where the strainer is somehow missing, larger size, fits well, doesn't move around, can pick by the handle, doesn't rust. Good item

We recently had a bad clog crop up with our kitchen sink. The plumber had to snake the clog and $240 later our drain works great.He highly suggested a couple of things: 1) to buy a sink strainer basket like the one with this listing and 2) don't put food items down the disposal.He said all food items should go in trash and not down disposal. He said a strainer basket like the one we purchased with this listing was great as it trapped everything due to it having the edge on sides that goes over the sink hole.We just got this item and it looks beautiful for what it is - and fits perfectly in our sink - so it looks nice and works great at trapping all the items that shouldn't be going down the drain to prevent a future clog. I bought this one over others I saw on amazon.com because it has the wire handle to easily lift it out of the sink. The outer diameter of this product is listed as 4.5 inches but it is in fact just under 4.3 inches. I’m returning it as it won’t keep debris out of the drain which is its main purpose.
