I am so happy with this machine. It took awhile to learn how to wind the bobbins but I am very happy with this investment. I was able to oder extra bobbins too from another company.

I think this machine might work out don't know yet as I will have to look locally for a motor. Amazon has industrial motors but are for speed. This is a heavy machine cast iron, I need torque not rpm's. The .9 amp motor I order from a different company did not come close to turning it. I wish the seller would recommend an appropriate motor and seller. Minor issue with tension stud nut, it will not stay on take up lever I think it is a mold seam issue I will need to grind the casting seam flat and the large gear seems to stick a little I will not know if this is an issue until I find an appropriate motor. I will update and am hoping to be able to give it a five star rating.

It's a great machine. I put a 1hp motor on it and built a table for it. Only thing I fide bad is that the bobbin is to small, it runs out of thread to fast.
