I hadn’t heard of blue squid before until now so I was excited to try these paints out as I’ve always used Mehron but I have to say I’m so in love with these blue squid paints, the palette is so light weight which is easy to travel with for those who travel for work as a face painter etc so I like that fact as my mehron palette is really big and bulky and heavy and not practical for travelling with. These paints were so easy to use and very pigmented and easy to work with, same for removing them they were so easy to remove with no residue left behind. I will note that some shades will stain but that depends on your skin type and where you place the paint everybody is different so you may stain but then you may not so just bare that in mind. But other than that these paints are incredible and I’ve been using these over my mehron paints since I’ve had this palette. The other nice touches I like is that you can remove the paint pans and they have clear plastic lids over each shade which I like to use as a mixing palette as you can mix these paints to achieve your desired colour you are looking for. Overall a great product and I highly recommended them.

I purchased this face paint set to use for Halloween and was so impressed. In the past I've used super cheap oil-based face paints and have always really struggled with application.The paints in this set are so easy to apply and the colour is really bold and clear. The pack comes with two paint brushes for broad and fine application, just dip the brush in some water and away you go!This set will last us for plenty more uses and I was so pleased with the quality. The extra cost was totally worth it and considering how much you get and how little you need to use for full face coverage it really is great value.Would definitely purchase this brand again and will certainly never go back to the cheapo oil based ones you see everywhere!

I love how bright and intense the colours are and how well they mix to apply to the face.It's less cracking them most paints on the face when dry I am amazed at how the paint glides on the face so easy to apply.A little goes along way.I also love how easy the paint is to remove.Much better to carry as all the colours are in one case and slim so it fits in my bag easily taking up less room.Love the productWill buy more

Great product to put on, lovely coverage, bright colours. As good as the leading brand. However I purchased for kids to use, to replace previous Blue squid set. I purchased the 'Pro' in error. I found that it was harder to remove with wet wipes and lead to staining of skin. I would purchase this brand again but double check that it's for kids.

This product is great! What struck me immediately was how vibrant the colours were in the pot. This transfers beautifully to the skin. I've been using various different facepaints for two years now and find it difficult to find paints which don't irritate/ dry my skin out too much. These paints apply nicely with great coverage and have never irrated my skin!Surprise bonus being each individual pot is removable from the casing so you don't have to carry round the whole tray if you know you are only going to need a few colours! Great feature, very well thought out! Love it!

I was very impressed with these paints. They are very good quality. Coverage is ver smooth. A little goes a long way but is easy to layer up the paint to make denser tones. They colours are vibrant. When i did this the finish was smooth and didnt dry out my skin. It lasted all night and still looked good after hours at a nightclub. The colour pots are individually covered so they keep clean.

Good value for money.Pros:- great selection of colours- each colour comes with lid and in individual removable pots (nice unexpected feature)- comes with 3 paintbrushes, booklet on some examples and some stencils.- really easy to remove. Harder around eyebrows but my 3 year old can remove it by themselves no problem.- cheaper than so e of the more well known brands but quality is the same if not better.Great lockdown activity. Highly recommend.

Update: Amazon refunded full amount without need to return of defected product. So if anyone has similar issues, please get your money back.Looks like BlueSquid is scamming their customers by selling less product than they are advertising. I bought Professional face painting pallete from Blue Squid - 10 grams of each paint, when it arrived scales showed just 6 grams (see photos). As product not cheap I would like to hear if BlueSquid will be refunding all of their customers due to misseling, please.
