The covers work well on our turbines. They seem pretty durable and should last several winters if they hold up like the last ones we had.

Canvas turbine covers
These turbine covers are thick canvas and seem very durable. I have turbines with external bearing system and they fit fine. The covers have a draw-string which is nice but I used some 48 inch zip ties for those extra windy days. The color is a yellow-tan and looks okay, not too ugly at all.

These work fine for intended purpose
I didn't care for the fit as they kept blowing off the roof. I had to tie additional string to secure these to stay on whirly birds. Don't use the clips they sell and advertise to keep these turbines on because I bought them and they are too small and don't work. The ones I had before had been better chemical treatment to protect covers.They are expensive too.

Temporary Review
Have only installed one of the two I bought. The one I installed seems to be working well but I won't know until there's a really good monsoon rain here in Arizona (any day). In general, I can say the cover fits well on my air turbine and looks like it will be significantly better than black trash bag covers.

PERFECT!
was looking for something to keep the snow that piles up on top of my Connex(shipping cont.) from destroying my whirlybird. Really like the canvas material on this and not some cheap plastic one they will crack half way thru the winter.only down side to this, is the tie does not slide tight enough so it won't blow off in theses Maine winters..... no problem, just used a bungee cord.as for the color, yea, well, it is on top of a roof that you hardly every look up at 🤣

Wish I had knew about these before this last winterNever knew that the turbines needed to be covered.Snow had blown into attic through the turbines and caused 2 water leaks in ceiling below the turbinesWill be all set for next winter
